    Today I had to walk out of the bank as she wanted to pay the contractor before he asked for payment. She couldn't understand why I would not pay him whats due before its due.

    She mumbles something about, "finish off!" My response is limited, "Never pay until its due." The guys screwed us all along and now she decides its time to pay him his final payment. All his subs keep coming to us asking for us to speak to him for their payment. Now she's wanting to pay this asshole off! WTF is that! Screw him!

    One of his subs showed up today and wanted to take some unused roofing steel material. I said that's my material as I paid for it. Do you have any money? Wife interceded and asked me to calm down, talk nice to this Bozo. I told her if he didn't depart that second I'd begin to kick his ass from here to hell and back.

    Needless to say he got the message and left reluctantly, and the wife informed me she told him to "Never return." Like I believe that one.

    Off topic, but what makes these people think they can come to your house and take things? I'm always looking for tools that get legs. wife says.bil has them, cousin has them neighbor borrow. For fucks sake, I want my tools when I need them not having to go on a search and destroy mission for them every time.

    Poor bastards can't buy decent tools to work with and have gotten spoiled with my liberal lending tool factory I suppose. Its always my fault!

    If you learn Thai language you will understand why their thinking suxx. It comes from the root of their language and even when thye speak Thai together they are unclear. It's not so important for Thai to be clear or not.

    First thing told to me by a farang, when I moved to the village, was "never loan tools to a Thai. They'll come back broken". May be that's the reason for the lack of 'Tool Hire' firms in Thailand?

    Well, there "stickmansucks" I think you're talkin' outta your arse with that comment about the language and how it is "unclear".

    After the last 7+ years learning thai I've found that it's a far more concise and expressive language that english is.

    Thaiz have no problem being clear, or even giving clear answers IF you ask the right questions to begin with..

    I'd hafta weigh in that your broad brush remark stems from either;
    1 - you think you speak/understand thai but in reality can't
    OR
    2 - please see #1 above
    "Whoever said `Money can`t buy you love or joy` obviously was not making enough money." <- quote by Gene $immon$ of the rock group KISS
