When do you feel the need to 'red' a fellow poster ?

In my small time posting on TD here I havent yet felt the urge to give someone a red !

Im a pretty laid back type of walrus and find it very difficult to get my tusks in a tangle whereas on a more than a handful of occasions I have felt it essential to give a deserving poster a green !

Now after being on the receiving end of a superb run of greens from various posters (thankyou you know who you are) my repo points have suddenly been violated by a couple of reds from a couple of evil rednecks for seemingly minor violations on my behalf.

I am not a vindictive walrus and can accept that different posters have different tolerances and even forgive those who have sinned against me for they know not what they do and therefore deserve pity.

So when do you feel its necessary to fire another poster a red ?

What is your tolerance level and what sort of post drives you to fire out a dreaded red to another poster ?

I always feel like doing the same when Blackgang posts, but that would be a bit low.
Sort of like kicking the living shit into a spastic.
I try to avoid that.

I've only ever redded Jarvis and that was just because I wanted to fit in. Normally I can't be bothered, if I don't like what somebody says I'll either say so or go and look at pictures of nekkid ladies instead. I got redded yesterday for saying minarets were nice

I think I've only ever given one, maybe two, 'reds'.

In any event both were to the same poster, Boon Mee, as he has a habit of abusing the distinguished tenants of logic and reason. As self-annointed guardian of such it's something I cannot abide.

Plus I think he redded me once and I'm very vindictive.

I only "red" people who are unnecessarily mean. I guess I spent my entire life among nice people and it's only since coming here that I realized how many mean and nasty people there are in the world. It has been a rude awakening and a troubling revelation.
