    "Brighton Beach"

Got chatting to a Smartly dressed Business Man and as you do in England the ice breaker is always about the weather when you first meet.
He chatted about how he hates this weather, no surprises there, he was wearing a suit, and complained about how tough it was to live in the English weather.
Well I mentioned that when I walked My young Son to school this morning I wore sandals and My Son remarked " It's raining, why are you wearing sandals in the rain."
I answered that it was hot.
He then proceeded to tell Me that a good friend of his was once a Hong Kong Policeman, and it was so muggy in Hong Kong that in one shift he had to change his shirt 4 times, and had to constantly buy new shirts as the washing wore them out.

I remarked that no matter how hot it gets in Asia, Asians do not smell, unlike Africans in Africa.
He then instructed Me that He was a Canadian, and was an ex Royal Marine, who worked alongside the SAS, and he had done covert operations in Africa, and African village dogs could smell them from afar, and would bark.
He explained that the smell we emmitt is the same as our diet, so upon him receiving, if they where lucky enough to get prior warning of a deployment to Africa, they would change their diet to that environment.
I assume he was saying that if you eat like a local, you smell like a local, and village dogs cannot then smell the difference.
He was very smug when We parted, by greeting Me goodbye with " Lesson Over".

Oh by the way he let Me into an unknown SAS code name for deployment to Africa, its called " Brighton Beach"

I became very familiar with Brighton beach and it is full of Asians and Africans, and representatives of every other continent you can think of.

I thought this might be about Brighton Beach in Brooklyn, better known as 'Little Odessa'.

I recon Flashbang and S F Bore get it on at Onnut fight club and have a round house competition.

I'll be there drinking the Dark Beer Lao and throwing rocks at the loser.

I often swim there, a mate's family own one of those boxes; spent many a summer there. (Grew up 20 minute bicycle ride away).

In the fifties and sixties when all motorbikes of all makers looked the same? No. Scooters had the edge. Granted, the mods drove the same make as identifier, but you could see different scooters in the most phantastic shapes almost every day.

Brighton has been taken over by tutti frutti faggots and Politically correct liberals escaping the mass immigration in London (though they wont admit it).

I grew up in a garrison town and the squaddies had the nickname of Pongo's.

I believe the name comes from them learning that when away in some foreign country's the locals could smell them if they used soaps and deodorants etc.

Better to blend in than get shot.
I would post pictures but life's too short.

    Utter twaddle.

A dog's sense of smell is up to 10 million times more sensitive than a human's and detects scents which provide it with its primary source of information. A troop of hairy arsed, sweating Brits armed with ordnance well oiled and quite alien to that which may be available locally and carried by the indigenous would provoke a response irrespective of what the squad ate for fucking breakfast,

Sierra Leone was the last African theatre of ops for Brits but who knows. Not including Libya of course which is Mahgreb.

Mind you, when my last squadron operated in Waziristan we trained up by eating a ruby for lunch and dinner in the Khyber Pass in Hereford High St. for two weeks. Got quite a good discount on their luncheon buffet too although Lofty Higgins developed an ulcer and had to be casevac'd which was a bit of a bugger and meant I had to carry the spare barrels for the .30 cal.
