curfew, am I allowed to drive?

I have to pick up my husband at the airport.
    I live in the nordeast.
I will have to drive from 01.00 in the morning till 4.00 in the morning because his airplane lands at 4.45.
Am I allowed to drive on the highway at night so that I can pick up my husband?
Do I have to go to the police station to ask for permission or a document?
Do I have to go to the Tourist Police?

They have said that people are allowed to travel too and from the airport .
But they have said that you will have to show your flight ticket .
Now the curfew is from midnight to 4 AM , why not drive to the airport before the curfew, leaving at 9 PM or leave your house at 4 AM and let your Husband wait a few hours at the Airport?

Swmapy or DM are the nearest airports to NR, unless he has a Cessna and can fly himself.

OP - Arrive at the airport at midnight, and then pick hubby up, and drive back. Make sure he has his ticket with him, and just in case, have a small collection of 100 baht notes to distribute.

This was covered somewhere else but ...

The National Peace and Order Maintenance Council has issued a curfew order from 22:00 to 05:00 (now 24:00 to 4:00)

    22 May 2014
The National Peace and Order Maintenance Council has issued a curfew order from 22:00 to 05:00, in effect from the 22nd May 2014 until further notice. However, Suvarnabhumi Airport remains operational as normal and departure passengers who have to travel to the airport during curfew hours must show his/her passport and ticket at road check-points; and please prepare additional travel time to ensure that you do not miss your flight. Arrival passengers and airport officials wishing to travel into Bangkok during these hours must show his/her passport or airport identification card at check-points.

All pick-up and drop-off vehicles must obtain a document from the Suvarnabhumi Airport Information Counters, located at Entrance 3 and 5 of the Departure Hall (4th Floor) or Entrance 3 of the Arrival Hall (2nd Floor) to verify that you have visited the airport during curfew hours. For any passengers who cannot find a mean of transport out of Suvarnabhumi Airport during curfew hours, may use the facilities available at CIP Lounges 1-4, located on the 3rd floor of the Passenger Terminal.

Nevertheless, the Shuttle Bus service between Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airport is operating as usual. For further information, please call AOT Contact Center 1722 (24-hours).
His plane lands at 4:45 so he won't be out of the airport until 5:45. I would leave home at 3.45 ( or 4:00) if you must, drive to the airport and he can wait a few minutes longer.

Or arrive at the airport before midnight and you can wait 5 hrs.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

Tell him to get a bus from the airport bus station and meet him in NR

Making you drive to pick him up is selfish and irresponsible
