    Thai coup Poll

This Coup seems different from other coups that most members here have witnessed.

How do you feel this coup will go.

I am sure members will moan about not enough options or info, its just a poll and not a election manifesto.

If your option is not there, just post your opinion on how things may turn out, more interested to see what people think.

Its just a sneaky feeling he's from a normal family from Korat, he is straight talking and change has to come soon to Thailand before its to late.

The people are no longer willing to wait, resentment is growing.

He could be just what Thailand needs. A tough, no-nonsense guy who doesn't take shit from anyone.

But he could also be disastrous, for the same reason.

If he does have the stomach to carry through much needed reforms, remove the most poisonous elements on all side (permanently) and keep things under control at the same time, then we could all be pleasantly surprised.

I think he knows what he wants. Old but relevant. The title is covered by news reporters in the clip.

    This is a 2011 clip!!!

hellooo ? you are joking, right ?

so now you are a support of a General PM because your in-laws got paid ? doesn't it prove all along that you weren't really an independent thinker and just a blind follower of Issaan logic ?

Prayud is not the sharpest is he. I am sitting here laughing at how he has blocked the news channels from abroad. Sadly he does not know Fox Thai that shows cop shows and the such to Fox News. He has blocked Fox Thai, and I cant get my NCIS fix...

What seems to be forgotten is that many generals were (and maybe still are) heavily involved in the drug trade, the illegal logging and various other nefarious activities

Will they all be arrested and court martialled?

    Fair question that Jackie Boy,

All your mates are now getting payed, your beloved Reds did not pay and hurt your family.

    Happy now Jackie .

I voted nothing will change. Of course it wont.

Yes, but festered resentment has existed in the past during all the many other episodes of contemporary Thai history.....

What is it that creates, amongst many, a feeling that this chaotic engagement and feeling of the population is any different from yesteryear - or 2 years ago, 4 years ago...??

The players might have changed but the play is the same.

Your esteemed list is embarrassingly vacant of quite a few successful and attempted coups....

Do some better and extensive research, FFS....

I am a practical man, if that's what you mean, not a brain dead TEFLER who follow blindly the political "enlightenment" of his family of peasants

True, even the photo posters for elections often have the participants dressed in military finery, as if it were something to be proud of
