Tried everything for a few months, but it just wouldn't respond to antibiotics - to which I usually respond very well.
Within a couple of months, no choice but surgery. It was a mess. What was to be a 1.5 hour operation went over 4. Operation was perfect. Recovery sucked.
Many people can control it for years with antibiotics when it flares - I wasn't one of them.
