Foreign Extra is the king of Guinness, 7.5 or 8 % ; its a different animal
to the normal stuff, best not to have too much of it though, as it can be a bit syrupy -
but one or 2 is lovely especially the bottled versions .

i'm on the gay red wine tonight from tesco , no snacks now

Being a Californian I would go Mexican, Chips, Salsa, Guacamole, some shredded lettuce, and chicken and beef taco filling.

    I never snack whilst tippling.

Food gets in the way of fluid flow.

Hey Aging One, thy mex food looks great. I also hail from California, San Diego, and miss the Mex food. Going back in May and looking forward to some great Mex food and a couple of Margaritas.

Did you use simple dough (looks like it - nice choice), puff or shortcrust?

Our (now ex) Filipina maid tried to make pies once . . . shit-a-brick there is a reason Flip cuisine is the worst in the region by a country mile.

A simple dough. (As per necron's recipie on his life of pie thread. )

I am familiar with making pies using pre bought puff pastry, but cannot get it here so have not made a pie for almost a decade. Pretty happy with the result.
