I'm quite disappointed in my Chang Classic Noodles.
They have dropped the alcohol content down from 6.4 % to 6.00 %
Also Singa have reduced the volume of their large bottle, sneaky little fukers EH.
.
Speaking of sneaky fuckers; in the UK and Ireland they've reduced Guiness to 4.5%. I noticed it was the norm for many of the ales now. It's difficult to find a hearty 6-7% ale or stout nowadays.
If you want good Guiness now ya gotta go to Malaysia where they have the export which is still 7%.
What I wanna know is how the British and Irish let it happen?
The Scottish ales also showed a similar trend of less alcohol. Scottish ales of yore where once famous for a good kick.
Nowadays the USA is where you can easily find good strong ale....
Funny while traveling around I found myself drinking the hard cider over the weak knee ale.
That looks mighty good. There are many small brewers popping up all over the US with ales like that.
Many seem to specialize in really hoppy IPA.
Opening a bottle of locally brewed 'Federbrau' it has, to my nostrils anyway, that distinctive yeasty aroma of 'Amarit'.
I wonder if they are by any chance related?
be hello sailor knocking back after that double bock lager terry, good to see they had it on board, get pissed off at must be the nanny state governments when the grog goes down from 6-7% to 4-5%,the price does not drop with it.
went down to the bottle shop tonight in nsw aust tonight to buy stout, guinness, coopers
etc,in bottles, over priced, locally made, less than 5%, bought some sheaf stout, cheaper and 5.7%,not as good but bugger it ,it still mothers milk.
the guy there tried to sell me some boutique stout from a local brewery, sneaky bastards had the old slimmer bottle trick going,700ml instead of 750ml, stuff them,
might of been good stuff but no sale to me when they try to pull that scam.

When I go back to Aus I go down the local for a few beers with my mate.
Its $10 a beer, a taxi home and a kebab. $100 for a few hours.
Here in Bangkok its Dark beer lao, pizza, a cheap hotel room and a great night out for $40 .
Yes, Australia is well out of the loop.
You blokes should get a Couple of beerlao gold down yer necks, it's a new one they have come out with lately, And not bad at all , costs a couple of kip more than regular or dark nice to have another choice to
I like beer lao, I just don't like the thought of helping to prop-up the LPRP buy paying for the stuff.
After the beer Lao goes down the gob the only thing you have to worry about is propping up the bar, Or getting an erection noodles, The times they are a changing, works for me
i've seen draught federbrau in restauants in bkk lately.
pretty sure ive seen cans of federbrau and bottles of kloster in villa/tops type shops but i might just be imagining that.
That Samuel Adams Double Bock is one I have not seen around here in our "neck of the woods." My husband and I usually purchase and consume their flagship brew and common "Boston Lager." - However, several years ago the Boston Beer Company brewed a beer labeled "Golden Pilsner", which was made with the original German Hellertau hops, which gave it that unique semi-bitter - but clear and crisp tasting - Pilsner flavor. That was and still IS my favorite beer today. - Cheers - Please drink and enjoy your favorite brew responsibly.
