Thread: Photoshop for n00bs

I have a desire to learn some bad ass photoshopping skillz and have acquired a freshly cracked copy of the most up to date Photoshop CS6. I think.

I believe this will cost me around $999, you know, erm, once my free trial is finished...

So, having done that and opened it up it will become instantly apparent that this shit is not for kids and there's not much chance of winging it unless you're only interested in making memes.

So I decided that I would happily be relieved of a small sum in return for some lessons, so I got onto Photoshop Tutorials ::

This did not seem so beginner friendly so I sent them a message on facebook asking a bit more about it and the kind gentleperson at the other end got back to me within the hour with some start up tips.

Hi Dirk, my personal suggestion would be to try the learn the basics first as I don't really focus on that. If you have never used Photoshop, I definitely suggest you try a few basic tutorials first.
