I could definitely be tempted
You could have conversations in engliah that actually make sense
^As soon your backs turned or 2wk holiday is over, straight to the nearest pawn shop
This was the queue when I advertised in the Thai Uni Times for a one night stand
I chose number 22 then told the one with no numder to sneak round to my gaff.....in her uniform
Sometimes these Uni chicks have a loose button on the front of their blouse and you get a glimpse
I've never, ever dated an english girl in my life, I'll admit it's difficult to chat up english girls down here, some don't even look at me as I walk past them. And believe me I've tried. That's why I take trips to London, Foreign girls, more easy going. I've been with an Indian girl I met in a pub in Kilburn, and Thai, European, Chinese, Thai I find they're easy to talk to. And get them to at least meet me or call me.
Have I been talking too much to girls in pidgen english I wonder.
Is this myth about english girls having too high an opinion of themsleves true?
Oh yeah I remember that. After that I knew something was seriously wrong. Unlike most Thai chicks, I had to try and woo her with intellectual conversation rather than the usual ''You like movies?'' or ''You wanna go eat Japanese food'' - simple things I used to say to Thai girls (most of the time in Thai rather than pidgen english)
I should have used my finest pidgen english with that girl. She was abit stuck up, high opinion of herself like many english girls I talk to then get put off after three sentences.
Myself and the misses like to do that now and again when in BangkokOriginally Posted by chitown
I did that at the Amari Orchid in Pattaya a few years ago, and got upgraded, the room had great views and a huge round bathtub about 3 feet deep, took a while to fil it up but it was a weekend to remember although room service wasn't cheap, and I'm a cheap bastard at times, we had our own box of red wine
Romance is golden
That's a cracking breakfast in your avatar pic DJ Pat.
There's nothing like tucking into a full English in Thailand whilst the Thai waitresses stare at you eating it..
Fantastic memories.
Funnily enough the next day we went round Royal Garden and Central and settled on a place just opposite, a kind of cheapo 'serves anything & everything' place. Imagine my horror when she read off the menu to the staff ''English breakfast kaa'' I was gearing up for a red pork curry with rice & egg or similar. I had the same without black pudding.
If I knew that I would have said let's go to Bunters instead or that place next to DD's old house The Continental which do breakfast from about 50 different nations from 89 Baht upwards
Three hours later we're at the food court having red curry pork on rice with egg..well I actively seeked it out (I was craving)
Romance can be full of ironies
I'm 'Merican, but I did an English breakfast - just when I am chowing on it though. When I am done I feel like a bloated pig with an apple in my mouth. Its good, but way to mutt food for one meal.

I don't do romance per say, but I had a very nice time at Posiden in BKK. Nothing like a good bath to wash the jet lag away. After reclaiming my cat, it'll be the first thing I do when I get back. Romance? Meh, it's overated
