i am up to the grade/belt/dan/ that i can pick fly shit out of pepper with chop sticks.
a handy skill to have when you are in some place and that is all you are supplied with.
but is silly when you go to an asian restaurant in the west and they give you a set,
most diners cannot use them so why do they do it.

Even if I can use them I think it's the most stupid thing in the word to use chopsticks to eat noodles ! These Chinese really are retarded monkeys ! In Italy we are smart enough to use fork and spoon for noodles <3

Really? Are you Italian?...I heard that using the spoon is "cheating"...

That's pretty stupid, indeed...But, I guess using two pieces of wood is better than starving...Socal's gotta be fairly high on the stupid list...Unless he learned how to mail a letter in the past few weeks...

But Emma just loves that boy...

Unless the food is liquid like, chop sticks make it easier to eat. If there is meat involved, then having it served already sliced is necessary, if the meat is too tough to bite off.

Eating a western style meal you usually need a knife to cut things. Personally, I prefer Asian food.

You can pick small or large portions at a time.

Putting wood in your mouth feels better than metal.

    Chopsticks rule, OK !

    On the contrary....
Peasantry will certainly have it's moments.

An item of social extension that perhaps you [et al] might not be able to comprehend.

You wouldn't like Korean chopsticks then, they are metal.

I'd like to see reddog try catching flies with these.

I can use Korean metal ones. Much trickier than those simple wooden/plastic ones.

Unlike Americans, I can use a knife and fork correctly.

I think the trick to using chop sticks is to hold the bowl as close as possible to your mouth, and scoop the food in.

Yes. The visual effect is very attractive also.

    It's why "spoons" were invented.

Yeah. Just smash a giant wad of those tinned beans onto the back of your fork and shove into your gob. Looks so klassy.

Makes sense the style of cutlery use I learned in the Southern US was a colonial import, now abandoned in Europe.
