Chang drinkers are the worst of all. Leo drinkers are OK if they have no more than 3 bottles or large cans at a sitting. And anyone who drinks Leo or Chang before 10am should be locked in a dungeon and the key thrown away.

^ So are you a Chang drinker? Or a pre-10am Leo drinker?

^ Anyone who drinks Leo AND Chang before 10am should be hung, drawn and quartered and then burned on top of a huge bonfire and have their ashes scattered in the courtyard of Shepton Mallet Prison!

    Present company excepted.

    No

I do however start the day before 5am and certainly wouldn't be ashamed of opening a beer at 9am.

    So hang me, fascist

Tried what appears to be a Russian beer. German style as noted. funny, says 4.7% ABV on left, and 12% on right. Was Pretty good. Enjoyed the Pattaya Firework festival

    Was a pretty good show.

Oh yeah and look at the people on the beach. Started filling up around 4pm. I can only imagine the garbage left behind.

    That looks great!!
For the most part I drink Singha, Usually buy a ase from Macro. While there I looked in the liquor store department and got a couple of german sounding and looking beers to spice things up. I was not very impressed.
Not sure if it's the Singha or that I am probably brain dead by now, but I had a couple of friends over for lunch yesterday and we had a few beers. I had six , I think. and I hardly even got a buzz.

PS: while at the Macro liquor store I looked for some JD and much to my disappointment they did not have any. So I got a lovely bottle of Captain Morgan spiced rum. Will try some tomorrow, perhaps that will give me buzz

Significantly cheaper because it is significantly less like gin. The thing is that the only readily available brand of tonic water drowns out any flavour so you might as well go with the cheap stuff.
I'll have to check the Gordon's next time I see it on sale. I have a feeling that it is one of the brands that sneakily changed its bottle size to 70cl.

I find most the Belgian or German style beers to be very good. I buy a variety to mix it up. Can't drink the Thai Goat piss. Still prefer BeerLao Dark or their Lager. Makro sells BeerLao. You should grab up a few and try them. Their IPA is pretty good as well.

I'm not sure where the beer was produced but there is Russian text as you noted. The Russian text appears to just say 'German Beer Unfiltered':
    German / Немецкое
    Beer / пиво
    Unfiltered / нефильтрованное

Seems to be the case. And of course most drink the goat piss with ice diluting it even more so you drink 6 but you drink 6 bottles of water with melted ice and all you do is piss all night.

Stick with Leffe, Beerlao dark, La Chouffe even Hoegaarden. Ice cold, no ice.

    ^ Sneaky buggers.

I just checked the recycling bin and my bottle of Gordon's was 70cl as well.

To be honest I didn't really notice the difference between the expensive Gordon's and this Gilbey's stuff, so I may as well stick with it. A tin of Schwepps tonic water and a slice of lime and good to go. I do sometimes wonder if the Ya Dong has killed off my taste buds.
