Funny as it is Armstrong, about 1 hour after that pic, I was relaxing watching football and then it started pouring rain. Was 88 and raining. Now huge white clouds and blue skies

Well after a long day at work.... I decided to finish off the Friday late afternoon with a few Old Fashions.



A dash of sugar, dash of bitters, dash of water, 2 oz of Woodford Reserved Rye, a spin of lemon zest and a Maraschino Cherry.

Actually we have 2 wells. However would be used now for dire emergencies. I use city water and have two 2000 liter tanks with Hitachi pumps for the property upkeep. Our water bill during summer is quite cheap. I used to use our wells but it was a pain in the ass with the pick up tube and junk.

Damn it Stumps, I am still waiting for the pizza oven thread!

What's the rainfall amount like? I feel like Samut Prakan gets less than Bangkok and Pattaya. But that's literally based on nothing other than 5 cans of Leo.

Sorry snubs, got a bit pre occupied with silly supply chain delivery issues for work which leads to lots of meetings. I am however gat6hering info for the oven. In fact I found a few local places that make a nice little fire oven that I could build a brick set up around next to my BBQ pit.

I would guess maybe 1/2 inch over the 45 minutes. Was perfect as I drank with happiness knowing I didn't have to water my lawns. Enjoy the Leo's......

Finally got to try the Beer Lao, it was good. Better than Singh or Chang. Though I did have one of them too.

^^ I prefer Chang these days but only drink out of a tin when on a flight. But have only ever tried 1 bottle of Leo in over 20 years the bottle of lager i drunk last night was defiantly the nicest i have had in a long time.
