Came across this yesterday at this little market down here in Chonburi. Had some time after work.
4.5L of Grey Goose Vodka. Interesting that a shop had a bottle like this being these are usually reserved for brokers to allocate to bars for the shelves. Be a nice addition to the pool bar but..... at $660 USD I passed...I still have 3 days and this could end up in the "Impulse buy" thread....
I did however do a restock. This place has some really good prices. Most were 200 to 300 bht cheaper then say Villa Market or Central Chitlom.
I have to say, being down here 9 days so far with colleagues and going out every night for dinner and drinks, my liver is about ready to reach out and slap me.
^ I do like Grey Goose and what's the other posh one that you drink with cucumber?
There was a thread on here once about vodka and the best rated one for value in Thailand was Green Mark, made by one of Putin's mates.
Pretty good though
I must have missed that thread, but I have to say that Stoli is good Vodka. I think I have seen the other Putin one, Forgot the name. And F that cucumber in a cocktail deal right now.
The other Vodkas I have seen here that are ridiculously priced is Kettle One and Belvedere. Not worth it. Ok in the US as the price is OK
A mate of mine brought his Mrs home a bottle of Grey Goose from a work trip a couple of weeks back thinking it was gin haha
Is there no sanctuary from the bloody Royal propaganda, the pub was like a ruddy church today.
One of the few open, I even tried to lower the volume with the remote but to no avail.
Some scally had knicked the batteries..
Never drinking Sambuca again. Some animal pissed in my trainers last night.
^ I've seen a crazy Welsh bloke drink one that was alight before in a bar in Bangkok. He didn't blow the flame out and his lip and shirt caught fire, Dancing around slapping himself he was.
Wasn't you was it Sid?
My last weekend in NZ last month before coming home, a Hairy Box sampler from Lakeman brewing
Liked it so much I just had to bring the 'hairy box' back with me, loaded with some good Wellington chocolate
