That would put our resident cheap geologist's box wine to shame. The curious thing is he has plenty of coin to buy nice bottles, so why is he a penny pincher?

Graduating onto slightly nicer beers for my first ever viewing of Stalingrad from 1993. Life was pretty grim for the boxheads on the Caucasus in 1942.

But still saving the imports until my olfactory bulb is firing on all cylinders

Went for a Sapporo this time. A nice beer, weaker taste compared Kirin, more like an Asahi. I must get some Sapporo glasses!

I've been converted to the correct glass for the correct beer recently, getting quite a collection.

Honestly the Ka Van Lan is OK but I do not think I would buy it again. Actually let me rephrase that. Its quite nice with one ice cube. Neat is a bit rough. One more though and I will do a rain dance for you. Winds are whipping around like crazy. I should probably go drain the pool before it comes....

Rain? It is the middle of January and it has no business raining.

I noticed an hour ago that the sunshine had faded and there are some biggish clouds up there. Inevitable, really, because I just washed the truck for the first time in 5 years. (It has been washed, never by me.)

    That looks good.
Nothing though can take away the pain of that test series.
That said, send me a few bottles and in the interests of science I'll see if they work.

That's what I said. Been full on lightning/Thunder and heavy down pours. Usually start about 8pm. Heaviest rain is late evening.

That shows some dexterity... either you've got 3 arms or you're a teenage girl to take a pic like that.

I don't even now what Ka Va Lan is... better than a Leo with Hong Thong chaser or not?

Not a hint of rain here, by the way.

Hahaha.. Mendy. It's easy. Set up glass. Open bottle and pour while taking a pic with the other hand.

    Kavalan Whisky.

Let's just say...it's better then the Hong Thong paint remover chaser...

Fook me Mendy by that background, I am unsure if you are in LOS or Beirut. Have you been taking artillery fire?

^ I think Beirut may be more fun.

No, sadly I'm still in the arse end of Isaan Nowhere... but we do need some decorators in.

I nearly made a really inappropriate comment about 'painter's being in for a few years now', but I'm glad I didn't.
