^ Is that vodka? Thai vodka tends to be undrinkable stuff.

I don't know what it is, they got me drunk on it one night and because it went down smooth I thought it was ok, Till I bought that bottle and tried it sober, Tasted more like Lou khao than I expected. Not recommended as a starter drink by me.

A beggar's bargain bubbly toast to some Luftwaffe lunacy in the form of the unique Arado Ar-232 transporter

The barking boxheads were never shy at trying radical new designs. With the nose canopy taking some cues from the He-111

AKA Tatzelwurm - mythical cat headed lizard - probably due to the strange spindly fuselage

    What are you drinking today?-img_20211104_222406-jpg

AKA the Tausendfüßler - German for Millipede - due to the curious linear array of ventral landing gear, to prevent collapse of the then innovative tricycle landing gear

^Go big or go home was the Teutonic ethos when it came to wartime transports and 6 engines were de-rigueur.

That one-off 60m-wingspan Bv-238 was certainly a bonkers behemoth but I feel Blohm und Voss dropped the ball a bit with the comedy nose

The production run 46m Bv-222 Viking looked more menacing and in keeping with Nazi design language

That's one of Dil's favourite tipples. He's also into birding as well: nary a weekend passes when he can't be found with a cockatoo nearby.

Check out the landing gear pornography on the Gigant

Milipede style, like on the Ar-232, but in 2 separate rows on each side of fuselage

Good Lord, Bud, in fact nearly all the US/UK lagers are awful. Hunt down some Pilsner Urquell if you must drink that fizzy rubbish.

Tonight old Gunther the Obersturmbannführer took a knee against racism to welcome Black Barbie in her crisp new Des Heeres uniform as the youngest member of the crew.

That has Bangkok 99 baht Happy Hour written all over it.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

This is true may God strike me down,----- It was around 2008? I was assigned to Redfern Railway station in Sydney, at around 2200 hrs this bloke walks up the stairs from the train dressed in a full German WW2 officers uniform (khaki colour) complete with swazikta's on the sleeves he looked to be about 6'6 He was massive. He towered over me and had a F/U demeanor. He was the most scariest person that I have ever come across, since that night the junkies and drunks that I had to arrest where easy pickings, It gave me a whole new respect for the young 16-17 year olds that went to fight for the ANZACS

It's not just their size etc

They were detached from reality all too noticable in their crazed, indoctrinated, hateful 1000 yard stare eyes.

Was you in the police then?

The eyes was the thing that bugged me the most, This guy was like looking straight through you, as if he had no soul, after seeing him I did appreciate that "Saving Private Ryan" movie more.
