The sun has set, so I’m enjoying a single malt now.

It seems a bit unconvincing to just say 'a single malt'.

The Rolls Royce Welland unit pictured here still works and is the oldest working jet engine in the world.

Although I am not sure if you can actually hitch this trailer to the back of your vintage Austin 1100 to make it go faster!

Famous Grouse for me tonight. Having returned to Teakdoor it would be silly of me to drink anything which was of a high standard. Indeed - the programme has some great footage inc the test flights and interview with the designers daughter. Some great footage of the Vulcan howl, not given to emotion but the fact it was het last flight left a lump in my throat.

Last week I tried mixing Sweeps lime soda with Captain Morgan spiced rum.
It was very good!!
Lime soda worked well with JD also.

With the raining coming, Cracked me a new bottle of a Double Oaked Bourbon and will watch it pour.

Very nice. Was that one of the ones you brought back from the US trip or did you find it in Thailand? I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that around.
