Yeah Yeah. I dorked that up. Should have at least bought 3. That is always sort of my rule when trying a new one but I was in a hurry at Topps due to the 2pm deadline and was filling my basket. Did add 6 Erdingers, 3 of the 8.9 Oettinger Fortes, 6 of the Maisel's Weisse, 3 Kaiserdom Hefe, 4 Deschutes IPA and 1 GODDAMN BeerLao White...

Fair enough then, not too bad.

Paint me lazy, but in my case, I've got a shop that delivers (from 600 metres away). So the shopkeeper sends me a WhatsApp asking if I want anything, I say yes, and next thing I know I have a mixed box at my door step, with a pay later option.

Fkr.....(In the nicest way of course...)

We have a business called Wishbeer. Never tried them. Have a great selection but have to join their game to get normal prices. My wife always looks at me cross eyed as I carry a big ass box rattling of bottles hitting as we walk out of the store. I just laugh and say "Honey, I bought you one of the raspberry Spy whatever you call them things and that's what making all the noise".

You know what I love the most.....When I am unloading the cart the teller is beeping them through. My wife starts to spit her phone number for the discount or points and the lady tells her "It doesn't apply to alcohol". I still after all these years do not understood why everything is just called alcohol. In the states we differentiate. That's a Beer, That's Bourbon, That's wine. Here everything is just alcohol. I think its because of all the Ya Donger's and Lao Khao makers. Maybe we should defer to Mendy on this..... Mendy?????

Well I'd say she used the word 'alcohol' to cover the whole lot and save time.

    Just a guess, like.

Why bring me in on this?

I just have the occasional glass of nice wine these days.

Well, it's chilled Mont Clair... so 'nice' is a bit of an exaggeration.

^ Tommy was checking out the gardener's welding platform.

It looked a bit wobbly to me and Tommy was not impressed. It took him a while getting back to shore.

Was that a recommendation from Lulu? He loves boxed Mont Claire.

Sorry. Wine for me is only for cooking.

Thanks to Headhunter for motivating me to go into town today and pick up some cider. It was absolutely wonderful.

I've become quite big on matching your glass to your drink... this may seem a bit wanky but in Isaan you've gotta make your own fun.

You do a damn good job of it. A lot of old hands have become pretty adapt at doing just that, making your own fun.

^ Yeah, the dogs love it.

The gardener will be venturing out to the end this week to do some welding. He's as blind as a bat at the best of times and I'm immensely looking forward to watching him walking out there wearing a welding mask. I may even try and make a video.

Did you intentionally have your angle-grinder sitting next to your drink when writing that?

    If so, good man.

Can I pop round and we fuck shit up?

^ Looper, back when I was alive I lived in Perth for a few years and seem to remember a bar in Fremantle... The Crown and Anchor maybe? ... that sold Little Creatures ales. Is it a microbrewery deal or something? Seeing your picture just jogged a memory...

^Whenever I went to Perth to work for the Submarine projects down the south coast I would rent a car and stay at the old Esplanade hotel in Fremantle.

In the evening I would walk across the park and across the little railway lines to the Little Creatures brewery which is right on the harbour beside the fish and chip shops that sell the fish off the boats.

There is a glass wall so you can watch the beer being conjured as you quaff.

A plate of fish and chips and then some brews in the brewery and a walk round the harbour is a nice evening.

There are quite a few good micro breweries around the Oz now but for a few years Little Creatures was the only game in town for decent hoppy native ale.

Working on some updates for the customers while I stream NBA.
