You have to get it up firs⁸t.

^^ Dr Joe, my daytime drink of choice is soda water with freshly squeezed lime juice. Is that as beneficial as lemon juice?

You reminded me of an old thread, maybe it's time for a new one.

    Ask Dr Joe

in answer to your question ,Lemons and limes are similar in their nutritional makeup. They also contain many of the same plant compounds that may play a role in reducing inflammation and preventing certain diseases.

Lime is good, but not as beneficial as lemons.. sorry not Dr. Joe though.

Lemon is amazing especially with warm water in the morning when you first wake up. It slowly wakes up your digestion system and cleanses your liver/kidneys.

I often us Mio (flavored enhancers) in my water, to give it a good taste, but overall I drink still water.. tons of it.

Well after a day of watching The SFGiants lose in extra innings and watching the Golden State Warriors win I finished off my 21 year by the pool.

^ JP... I nearly made a smutty comment along the lines of it being a long time since I've finished off a 21 year-old by the pool, but that was too predictable. I probably never have, anyway.

After a day of sipping soda water with freslyh squeezed lime juice I had a rare drink tonight.

I'll see your 21 year-old by the pool and raise you a Leo and Ya Dong in the kitchen while making steak and kidney pie. I couldn't sit outside with the dogs tonight as we're having a big fly hatch.

I prefer not to drink alone.

What you don't see from this picture is that I'm standing here in nothing but my boxer shorts while being absolute drenched in sweat... I'm standing on a mat it's so bad to stop the floor getting slippy. Korat is unbearable hot and humid just now.

You have a problem, that bottom is almost or probably already is gone.

    Apparently it's world whiskey day.

    Will raise my glass!

^ No luck about it mate... I've spent two days slaving away in the kitchen. Check the Dinner thread later.

The daughter and wife are the lucky ones!

Scratch that... just the daughter... getting the wife to to eat my Western food is like stopping a Thai dropping litter.

I tell ya, the gardener could lay a turd on a plate, garnish it with basil and chilli and the wife would proclaim it the best meal she's ever had. No way will she risk a piece of steak and kidney.

You're ignorant and full of yourself. Lemons and limes are mostly similar, but lemons are slightly better.

"Lemons provide more vitamin C than limes — but both make a significant dietary contribution of this vitamin.
Overall, lemons offer a slightly greater quantity of vitamins and minerals, including potassium, folate, and vitamin B6."

Retro night tonight with the original Thunderbolts on parade with their brutal contemporary namesake

    Sounds like a plan Mendip.

And a dog would probably not leave as much hair on the bathroom floor either.

I'm contemplating living on the wild side and squeezing a Lemon and a lime into a glass of soda water.
