^ I bet that made your day. The Thatchers cloudy was a box of 10 for £8 - goes down a treat on a hot day.

Today's tipple is Cricketer's Pale Ale which I was unable to walk past in Uncle Dans at $11 for 6

It was good as a regular ale but I was able to transform it into a very cosy winter ale with the addition of half a teaspoon of caramelised syrup.

I might shop around for some malt syrups to engage in further ale-tassic alchemy.

Well this was 129 Baht a tin, so well over 3 quid, but that's life.

A free Green Goblin glass with every 4 tins... so I got 2 free glasses to start with. Green Goblin is my favourite cider... it really would be something if that comes to Korat.

She's thinking...he can't be going out again after that cider. Surely i get the rest of the day off and if he passes out i'm going to town on his sandals.

Mendip, I have seen that at Villa Market. Unfortunately there isn't one in Korat. Maybe that well stocked liquor store at "The Mall" has it.

^ Yeah, The Mall occasionally has Strongbow, but now that I've found Thatchers in Korat I'm happy... well, happier!

Tonight I tried Kingstone Press cider... OK but imho not a patch on yesterday's Thatchers. Not surprising it was 30 Baht less for a tin (but for 440ml instead of 500ml).

It's made somewhere up north called Worcestershire... I'll stick with Somerset ciders I think.
