    Same drink... new venue.

The rains have well and truly come to Korat and it's already looking like a better wet season than last year. At least around our area.

A mid afternoon Leo before the evening rain... but it's not mindlessly having a lonely drink, it's fishing with a beer!

^^ Mate, if I had a pool like that I'd make a ramp of some kind so the dogs could get out if ever they fell in when no-one's around.

I do not understand why the pool is half full. Water rationing?

Oh wait. LuLu now Edmond says Dil is a hippo. Maybe when he is in the water it displaces to the top.

    ^ thats not very nice.

See the steps up the other end and the rectangle hole and the one a feet away of it to the right? They are the overflows and why the pool doesn't get deeper, I think. Or maybe its to do with the viewing window and the water pressure that would be on it. Its about Luigi deep at its highest. You couldnt put a springboard on it but it does the job, even if you have to bellyflop in

The fish pond on the other side of the house is purposely the same and deep with a drop to stop long legged and necked birds from eating the carp I assumed or could be that viewing window too.

Rain has stopped play here now, time for the rooftop bar

Well I gotta say.....I am realllllly attempting to get back to drinking once a week.... Ok..... Twice.....but man is it tough. I must walk by my liquor cabinet 3 or 4 times a day and I hear them all screaming at me... That said though, you know life is good when you can be on a con call and enjoy sipping a good bourbon relaxing.

Once a week is good. Start Monday
and finish up Sunday! Ha ha!

I've noticed my alcohol consumtion rise the last few weeks. I've always been prone to an early evening Leo, but one or two is becoming two or three, or four. With a couple of Ya Dong chasers, or three or four...

To be honest I'm going stir crazy spending so long at home in Korat. I love me daughter and I love me dogs, and the gardener's ok as well. But I'm longing for a decent conversation in a bar with an adult human Westerner!

HEH! I do not drink until after the sun goes down. Just personal rule. Then I get twisted.

I have found that I can do those calls pretty lit and seem to get away with it over and over especially during this lockdown. It helps that I have shut down video chat with the excuse that I am down bandwidth in my neighborhood. It is an easy sell since most in SanFran are totally fucked with bandwidth and can not upload at all.

Poured some into a soju bottle to chill in the fridge, the rest will continue to brew in the larger bottle

The wife bought me a box of Singha beer without being prompted. First drink for a week and it's got the head going all fuzzy ... nice feeling.

Missing swimming, might have to find an open water location.

Been mostly swimming in Ale since lockdown.

Here we have 4 strong Ales, can you match the % with the bottle.
    8.5%
    7.8%
    6.6%
    5.8%

Old Perculiar is the weakest there at 5.8% (I didn't think it was that strong, more like 5.5%). One of my old favourites.

King Goblin would be next at 6.6%.

I don't drink beer above that level of alcohol so don't know about the other two...I guess they're in order, strongest on the left

Redex...McEwans Export brings back some fond memories from the distant past.
