    ^ Aye. 1 cube, 2 max

    Bogon Tip #281

Whisky always tastes better from a crystal tumbler.

Disappointed that a man of your means has resorted to using a hotel glass that is used for holding toothbrueshes.

Heathen, killing the aroma. A splash of water is allowed but that's it.

    ^ No-one within 2km?

Rain tonight so a change of venue for my last lock-down bottle of Strongbow... and rare human company to my left (albeit on her tablet)...

But canine company only to my right... and strong (pun intended) hints being dropped by Yogi... he loves a drop of cider.

I heard there might be a 10 day ban on alcohol sales starting on the 10th. So, it might be best to load up on the stuff while possible.

No Kidding about Dillinger FFS... Just drink water and save the single malt. Whats the point.

Glass has proven to have a significant impact on both smell and taste sipping Whiskeys and Bourbon.

I only add Ice when I have my Bourbon with a splash of Amaretto.

    Funny Pic Mendip.

BTW, I shelved my Fish pond for a swimming pool. Is that your pool in the background or a community pool?

I am rationing my good Bourbon's, Whiskey and Tequila at the moment. No visitors coming this way anytime soon. Albeit Buffalo Trace Bourbon or Maker's Mark Whisky are a very good middle road sipping. I have been drinking Stoli's Vodka with a variety of add ons. Cranberry, Lime juice, OJ/Pineapple, Contreau.

Anyone know if they have mobile Liver transplant services yet? Likely going to need one by the time this is all over...

    Self explanatory I reckon.

I can't help wondering how many more evenings like this I'll be spending before I get back to work...

The time with me daughter is of course priceless, and to be honest it's been great to spend so much time with Dan. She's approaching 14 and you just never know...

I'd quite happily have Dan sleeping in the bedroom if it wasn't for the wife... but to be fair she's become a bit incontinent.

    Dan, that is.

In Nepal there was a place a load us used to go to on the outskirts of KTM where you could avoid the pollution, chicken heads and general traffic cacophony - we go there and while an afternoon away getting pickled and eating snacks. Chili Chicken was always a favourite and they used to have a pen with chooks awaiting their culinary moment. So we used to select the chook which was going to be our snack and liberate it from the pen and then set about getting it ragingly pissed. We found a combination of Raksi (rice spirit) and everest beer brought about the desired effect - once pissed enough it could be trusted to stagger about unguarded until it was snack time - we felt good about giving our snack a good send off.

It's a beautiful day here in NZ . . . taking a break from painting the fence (the wall really doesn't need it as it was painted last year) and a refreshing libation is required

Well I had 2 or 3 too many last night. . Problem is my pours start out just a tad heavy then by 3rd or 4th they are extremely heavy because they are a mixed cocktail and I just pour.

Sort of remember going to bed last night and was up at 5:30am for a quick bike ride then a conf call at 6:30a.

Its 1:15pm and I fully intend to take a day or 2 off......But its early....Its just very nice sipping while watering the lawns and BBQ'ing. Had a fat Ribeye last night.

I've just ordered a delivery. Fortunately, I only have a balcony here and no garden.

Perhaps I can piss on the neighbours below when I'm half cut?
