2nd essay of this course drafted, so enjoying some draught beer

You occasionally pop up on my Facebook newsfeed talking to guy who's also doing it that I'm friends with. It's a small world

This trio went down far too smoothly, had to nip out and buy a few more.

I picked up the daughter from school today and discovered that she has a 5 day holiday for Chinese New Year - she goes back to school next Wednesday.

What this technically means is that tonight is not a school night, thus releasing me from my near tea-total week of exercising and sipping soda water with lime on school nights.

Happy days... no 05:40am alarm tomorrow!



It gets better... the wife has gone to yet another funeral... no not hers... so I have a relaxing evening with my lovely daughter and the dogs!

And it gets even better... my fantastic daughter announced that she wants the leftover quiche from last night for dinner tonight... because it was so yummy! (so stick that you mockers).

So no wife, no cooking, one beautiful daughter and six lovely dogs (Anna and Vigo are also staying at the moment).

It don't get better than that!

A glass of my homemade mostly-apple wine. Tastes rather nice and clocks in at a reasonable fuck-you-up percent alcohol.

Well in keeping with the Asian New Years spirit....... I finally opened my Hibiki Masters select Suntory Whisky. I have to say quite a good nose and clean good taste. Notice the "Legs" in the sipping glass. Very nice. Its early, I might get through half this bottle......
