Bottom of the barrel tonight...so to speak.
I ran out of red wine and gin by early evening, so had to make do with malibu and pomegranate juice.
Not that bad if you are one over the eight already....
^ What a fantastic selection!
Would have added a few bags of Wotsits as well!
And maybe a little nip of Hong Thong...
I could go a bottle or three of that now.
I'm still at work but have a nice box of cheap red wine to get into later. After five weeks I've found one that is almost enjoyable!
It poison that red wine, ok with a meal.
But drinking to get pissed no thanks.
Gonna have a few pints of Blue Moon larger before the match...
Set up in my new living digs for work. Gotta say the view is quite relaxing with a good Tennessee whiskey and some music rollin. Nobody lives on the floor I do plus above and below. Could throw down a party here. Plus the balcony railings are tall so no "Accidental" swan divers....
Nice one!
After an 11 hour day in the office my daily treat is an after work pint.
Tonight the barrel had gone. And what followed surprised me - I've never seen this system before...
The girl removed the empty canister.
Then took a new 20 litre canister out of a box...
Stuck it in the receptacle...
Put the cover back on...
And voila! My after work pint delayed by about 3 minutes!
The Norwegians may make awful beer, but they can certainly deliver it quickly!
I'm drinking 'shochu'. A Japanese/Korean rice wine - sometimes using barley or various vegetables..
Often mixed with fresh grapefruit or oolong tea.
Taste is mild, effects are strong - oh, dear...
Why did I move to Thailand
A bar so big you see the curve of the earth (maybe). Brews its own beers. BUT £7-8 a pint. In the city, I hate those wankers. But if I was in London I would check it out.

Home is where the beer is.
That's enough studying for today, time for some beers.
Some Belgian Weizen Bier with Toilet Duck chaser.
Not bad.
^ 400 Baht.
Doesn't even include free peanuts. That would be another 120 Baht.
But what can ya do? Only another ten days and back to the Leo!
^ How's yer fitness getting along Mendy? Are you still going for the afternoon/evening walks when on-shore?
Well... I'd lost 6kg by early September after making an effort, but eight weeks of office work and hotel living in Norway has put paid to that, and every barstard kilo has gone back on, with interest.
Not easy to eat healthily when living in a hotel, and not a lot of spare time after 11 hours days in the office. A mile each way to the office and back is the only exercise I get!
Excuses of course. But I'm back home the week after next and will hopefully get back on course!
^ Looks a bit gay ... Are you feeling okay?
Guinness tonight...
