Actually I was more referring to the fact that it's a holiday and we can lounge around by the pool rather than work.

Oh, right . . . I see. Disregard what I wrote. I can down the old lager with the best of them, I can!

    Yes, the pool. Holidays. Right.

I'm back Wednesday with three others, two Malays and one Indian. The Malays are original KL-ians, so no balik kampung.
Two are back on Thursday and the rest on Monday . . .

Officially only today and tomorrow are public holidays

^I'm curious about that. In the U.S. Bud is considered pisswater by everyone who doesn't drink it (not going to comment on the citizens who do). But here in Thailand I know some Western brews (i.e. Heineken) are brewed locally and that certainly changes the taste (in a really bad way, IMFHO). But there's so many good posts here about Bud, I assume two things: the posters are obviously not from the U.S. and secondly, it must be brewed here.

If you're too lazy to go to the shops, then you have 3 choices to mix it with: 1) nothing 2) What's in your refrigerator? 3) tap water

After a night at Cafe Des Amis drinking marmalade flavoured vodka, rubard flavoured vodka and a few G n T's, I am never drinking again.

    I don't even like vodka!
