An excellent whiskey.
^really enjoying it and for 25quid a bottle, you can't go wrong. 10 is on sale at 29, thinking of treating myself.
^yea the price of Scotch in some places is a joke
Bought this last year, didnt get round to using it and totally forgot about it.
It has been stored in a cool dark place all 10months.....
What does TD's finest alcoholics think?
1. Will be absolutely fine and I have a PhD to back my claim
2. Why not, we don't like you anyway and you won't be missed
3. Stop being such a pussy and get it down ya lad
One should listen twice as much as one speaks
Number 3, suck it and see!
^you know its Budvar of the Czech Republic and not 'Budweiser' of America?? definitely not a crap beer.
I generally only buy a single malt if it has the words 'peat' or 'smoke/smokey/smoked' written on it somewhere.
I generally drink any whisky offered.
Even a blend.
Keep up the good work.
And Budweiser at 2.6/5 (still above average)
Most mainstream beers are rated at around 3.5, top rated ones are either mead or no longer brewed by their company.
So it's kinda flawed.
I was getting stuck in to the Innis & Gunn last time back in Scotland. Who knew a beer could be better than Tennents!?
Lang may yer lum reek...
Yea they did:
'The dispute has been ongoing since 1907, and has involved more than 100 court cases around the world. As a result, Budweiser Budvar has the rights to the name Budweiser in most of Europe and Anheuser-Busch InBev has this right in North America.'
I definitely agree with you, most beers nowadays are shit, especially the ones with glucose syrup in them and brewed/ bottled in Burton upon Trent. Budvar is not expensive and is brewed and bottled in The Czech Republic. Try it sometime, you will not be disappointed.
I prefer Kentucky Bourbon. Almost all Bourbon barrels wind up in Scotland, as you can never reuse bourbon barrels in the US according to law, so they get sold on to the Scots.
Onya Glen. Wasn't to bad hard to tell after all that tanduay though
The fda have a lot of strict rules re food and bev. Haggis is totally banned canned or otherwise. And I've got a filipina friend in Wisconsin complaining that Mang Thomas sauce is now banned but Theresa local alternative called manang leah so I guess d flippers are happy now?wouldn't mind some of that Glen Campbell again
