It's grey.
Maybe she just finished another photo shoot.

Heavy on the mint.

Lovely on a chill-chill afternoon.
Friday night, so a couple of Leos followed by a glass of wine.
There was no Mont Clair or Peter Vella at the local 7-Eleven so I had to splash out on some Jacobs Creek. You're only young once, after all!
Anyway, an early night tonight because tomorrow morning I'm heading to deepest, darkest Isaan to see Ootai... yes, it's the daughter's Aussie passport renewal time and I need an Aussie guarantor. Desperate times mean desperate measures... :)
Chicken fajitas, Leo and Jacobs Creek. Living the dream!

Weird looking chicken on that pink plate.
I was poking around the gardener's fridge yesterday and noticed one of the daughter's school water bottles.
It transpired that he is using it to store Ya Dong so that he can drink it chilled when he goes out in the evenings. (he has come off his motorbike twice this year already)

The daughter's at a posh school and I don't reckon they would appreciate her taking in Ya Dong to drink at break time.

Anyway, once poured...

This bottle of Shepherd Neame Kentish Strong Ale is lacking its usual frothy head due to being accidentally dropped on its cap and loosening last week, spurting out a few mouthfuls plus its head of gas.

It actually tastes more like the real pub ale this way without the pepsi level gasiness. I might start doing this to other bottles.

Not drinking from it yet but got given this by a client, can't wait to give it a try but it's Guinness night tonight for the Chels game.

Friday it is. Stock market rolling. Why not have a morning cocktail watching some NBA before I toss a Ribeye on the grill for lunch. :)
That’s the life.
After a week away with work I'm drinking my bodyweight in Leo.
A delicious icy cold Singha.
Lemon flavoured soda water.
Advertised as 0 Kcal 0% sugar. Not really bothered by that lie. :)
The yellow one is delicious, and the only fizzy drink worth drinking.
Pass on the red, orange and red versions.
Morning coffee.
Corporation pop.
Maybe a hot chocolate tonight before bed.
Almost day 14 off the beer.
One of the empties from last evening. An Italian friend brought it over and it was a decent drop.

Seems to be a thorny issue at times, so I'll skip the juicy details, and just say that it's berry, berry nice.
^ We have a mulbberry buah in the garden.
Do you know... you've got me thinking...
I think I'll have a tin of Thatchers!
Mulberry are easy to grow. Just cut a length from a stem stick it in a pot with any old soil and it'll sprout in 2-3 weeks. One of my favourite fruits in Thailand.
Really?
I've always found it rather bland.
We have quite a few Mulberry trees and to educate Mao, they don't have thorns. :)
But I have found the berries to be a bit tart. My wife gets a bowl and adds a bit of sugar and it makes them much better.
But as Toots said, they grow very easy anywhere. You can cut a branch and put in dirt and it will grow.
This is the What are you drinking thread, ladies, not which berries ye grow in yer gardens.
Sheesh, where are the men 'round here.
