I normally drink Washington State Chardonnay, but this California wine was so good I had to buy a case! Low in sulfites too which is a plus.

One of the negatives of moving back to Thailand is access to decent wines. Can't drink much else these days.

As luck would have it, I stopped by an out of the way Makro. Went by the beer section and they had that seasonal Hazy IPA i like. in fact 8 on the shelf and 2 cases in inventory. Picked it all up.



Chilled a 6 pack and then sat in in the pool



They sure go fast....

After my relaxed time in the private pool I headed on down to the "Pool Bar" for happy hour and picked me up 2 Negroni's. Buy 1 and get 1 free.

I was on it Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bank holiday here today, but I'll be playing it safe in the sauna to sweat it all out...

Laos is easy if your a wine drinker. Cheap also. Must have something to do with the french influence, maybe the lao dont tax it as highly? Friends in udon. Or nongkhai would always stock up on wine when border bouncing

Weihenstephaner was a wiessbier winner though at the 2016 World Beer Cup where it lifted the gold medal for this Hefe Weissbier

Thailand, yeah I know, but do they pay the alcohol importation tax or how do they avoid paying the tax on importing more than a litre?

The bridge was fairly porous most people simply didnt declare it
