Japanese craft beer.
^ Cheers DW.
Tonight I broke into my Cabinet......
10 Year old Masterson's Rye. Wonderful 90 proof
Hendrix Gin and Tonic
Single malt*
* Talisker but it annoys Cryille if I just call it a single malt.
The 333 on the right is quite Leoesque if I remember correctly.
I won't be doing this again.
139 Baht and only 3.6%. I could have got two 5% Leos for that and still had change for a bag of wasabi peas.
I don't even like the taste... it's way too hoppy for me.

^ Odd, I used to drink Greene King a lot back in the 70's and thought it was more like 5 - 5.5%. Maybe I'm having a "Senior moment" and it was the Abbot's Ale I used to drink but I thought it was IPA.
^^ It was straight from the fridge Stumpy but I wasn't drinking particularly fast. It's warming up fast here and beer doesn't stay cold for long.
A couple of glasses of Mont Clair with my homemade sweet potato fries saved the evening!
I can understand that. Warm up this way too Mendy and you tend to drink them faster before they get warm. I keep a few glasses and mugs in the freezer and then on hot days drop the beer in the freezer for 5 or so minutes and pull them out together. Frosty glass and very well chilled beer.
Freezer with glasses for any occasion.![]()

^ That's good planning mate... or you could just drop in a couple of ice cubes?
I currently have a 15 minute window between 16:45 and 17:00 when the setting sun pokes through the trees to the west of our property and penetrates through to the concrete table in the pond-side sala. Assuming that Yogi isn't relaxing while cooling his bollocks at the west end of said table, the light from the setting sun has a clear path through to my bottle of Leo, illuminating its contents to display an iridescence of beautiful colours ranging from deep brown through to a rich amber.
At least that's my excuse for having an early beer and I'm sticking to it. After all, it is some kind of a holiday this weekend!
I tried a Leo Strong Brew tonight. At 5.1% it doesn't seem that much stronger than the standard 5.0% of a normal Leo but was better than last night's IPA.

its shocking to me that Chang is now weaker than Leo
Freeze your glasses with a cm or 2 of ice in the bottom and not only does it stay cold but you can take bets on when it will float to the top.
