    ^^ A man's gotta have a hobby.

Tonight I was thinking of doing something I haven't done for a long time.

Nice spot. Does the pond create a mosquito hazard?

^^ No more than anywhere else. The pond is full of fish and I think they take care of the mosquitos and larvae.

The main problem is these b@stard tiny little black flies that buzz around your face and get in your eyes and up your nose. They drove me absolutely fukkin mental and tonight and I gave up and went inside early.

    But mosquitos, no problem.

We have a lot of those little black flies around the camp here. If I'm eating outside I try to get a fan blowing on my face and food but it's a losing battle. I've never seen them this bad before.

No problem with them up on the mountain at the rig site. Never encountered them down south either.

    Bastards.

^ They just do me in. I'll try and clap at them in front of my face but the clapping noise makes my ears ring, and maybe I sometimes get one but another immediately takes its place.

Sometimes I'll breath one in through my nose and it comes out in my mouth. I hate them.

They completely destroyed my relaxed mood tonight.

Took the mutt the park today on a long walk, he doesn't run through bracken like most spaniels but he was next to some long grass before he started shaking his head vigorously every 5 seconds.

Having a Google before calling the vets, ear mites came up but the most logical would be a grass seed in there.

I stuck the garden hose down there, it's his right ear because he squeals when I squash that one.

Still shaking his head but every 30 seconds now so called the vet and booked him in tomorrow at midday when they said they only had tlemergency treatment open.

Had another little google and poured some warm olive oil down both ears now.

He's still shaking his friggin head and slobber's going everywhere.

Anyone get any other tips, or know what uk vets charge or know what's the best kinda cardboard box to run a hose through?

Have you seen those adverts where they tell you pet insurance is equivalent to the price of a pizza?

Yeah, well, there's a greedy, selfish fat bastard joke in there somewhere

Just use normal ear drops from the chemist but don't say they're for your dog.

Them massage his ears gently for ten minutes, the clean them out with a tissue.

Yeah the Anna the Dog thread is no longer going to be viewed by me. It has become a really odd thread.

^ Oh no... gutted. I'll keep it going for all those who post on it and seem to enjoy it though.

Yeah, I wasn't going to 'do' Yogi but was considering a Moose-Stella snakebite. I decided against it in the end... busy day today. Why is it that snakebite seems so much stronger than drinking separate lager and cider?

Apologies for the off-topic... but this is often the case. We use human eye drops on Dan and they are a fraction of the cost of dog eye drops from the vet.

Pics of dogs shagging and dogs on tables with dicks hanging out it is not something many enjoy IMHO. It was good thread early on but has slowly become a no look thread.

    Good luck with it Mendy.

Kind of a "What are you drinking?" and "Impulse buy". Ordered this Jingjok killer. 97 baht. The rubber bands supplied were too weak but a quick scooter ride to market I picked up some smaller ones that pack a punch. Topped off 2 in a few minutes. I have an ECO system here. I knock them down, my lab gnaws on them until dead. I toss in my pond with the crawdads as they love them. everybody wins.

    Time for a Bookers Bourbon.

Actually, quite a few. A few mates round and i had to do the pies, pork pies which are a snack. The roast lamb is later if we make it.

Up the local and 4 pints, back and they are being affected by the heat so frozen Gordens (cheap i know but i had 4 litres of it, a mistake it turns out).
