Came across this set at Homeplus today, not very inspiring, but I haven't had any Californian wines in a while, especially not in hotel cabinet/airplane meal bottle sizes. I've never seen a glass so small...

Hey Mendip, I was thinking of you last night... Ooooo missus...

The parents/brother back in the UK bought 24 bottles of cidar last week, 500 ml bottles of some English stuff I'd never heard of..., they enjoyed it so much they've ordered up another 24 bottles yesterday!

^ I've got no problem with you thinking about me.

I would absolutely love 24 bottles of decent cider right now. I finished my last lockdown bottle of Moose last night, so now it's just Leo and Ya Dong for the duration.

Good memories from the town where this is made, but apparently now a bit of a tourist trap .
Also somewhat amused that my tiny corner-shop here in Mongolia stocks better booze than the one in my UK hometown, which is a famous shithole in all fairness.

It sure is, though I'd rather crack on Nairobi than the professor, but whatever floats your boat!

Well looks like summer is over next week and so you just have to take the opportunity for proper summer drinks...or 3, no garcon to click your fingers at so go large. Ron will comment, Snub will approve. The Donald tweeted you have to disinfect yourself internally - i am finding myself agreeing with the Orange one, weirdly.

Tonight, and after a great Madras Chicken Curry Meal, a couple of bottles of water and a coffee.

4th alcohol free day in a row and surprisingly for me, not missing the booze at all.

This is what a 75 Baht bottle of Leo looks like.

You can still get booze round here but it helps if the shop knows you.

I resisted reporting them for price gouging... although to be honest I don't think 75 Baht a bottle is too bad under the circumstances.

I've had the best day ever on the catching and re-homing puppies front. Knackered, sun burnt, covered in scratches and full of splinters... but what a day!

I thought I'd celebrate with... a Leo and a glass of Ya Dong!

Coming up to 10 booze free days for me which seemed impossible 2 weeks ago.

I had the opportunity to buy a case of beer and a bottle of scotch yesterday but to be honest I feel quite good about giving my body a rest so I resisted the temptation.

I haven't had a drink in a month and to be honest it's not like I'm gagging or anything.

But as it's a long weekend I might make myself a nice cocktail after dinner.

    I'm thinking a nice blue G&T....

Without the dry ice of course.

^ I thought, 'how rude!', until I looked at the pic and she does indeed have Yogi's arsehole sticking out of her cheek.

This lock down has just got serious here... can't find Leo for love nor money, but managed to procure a box of Chang and a bottle of Hong Thong today. About 30% up on normal prices.... 800 Baht for the Chang and 350 Baht for the Hong Thong. The way things are looking I'm not sure it's gonna be easy to find much more round here this month.

^ think you are going to have to put the names (and any you are thinking of) to a vote Mendip, although for me Yoda ain't a girls name but then again it was never disclosed in Star Wars if the green fella was boy, girl or hairdresser.
