Finished my work for the day, cracked me open a 13 year Speyside from Craigellachie. Had no idea what this would taste or smell like. It was given to me by a friend back in the US. Great nose, smooth taste and easy sipping. Oh Yeah and its 2:16pm in the afternoon and its 41c out.

I beg your pardon. I take great pride in never having tasted Budweiser, Coors, Millers, Pabst blue ribbon, Michelob. I will however concede that I do happen to like Cap'n Crunch but only with the Crunch Berries.

One week and two days into lockdown... and I just had a slug of Ya Dong at 3:30pm.

This is a worry... I hope it was a one-off.

Half an hour early. That's shocking, Mendip.

^ I'll ignore that... 1 hour and 30 minutes early to be exact, but a slippery slope nonetheless!

Anyway, it was a one off. I waited until 5:30 today so all is OK!

I've found a problem with having a beautiful black marble table top in the Isaan hot season is that it absorbs every bit of heat there is - it's hot to touch. My beer has been getting warm very quickly, and I now realise why Dan has been reluctant to do long photo shoots.

In one of those light bulb moments I dug out a couple of beer mats tonight... problem solved. And the gardener got paid today... and bought himself a bottle of Hong Thong. It works every time... and saves me from that hellish Ya Dong.

Your fingernails can reveal a lot about the state of your health. Conditions ranging from stress to kidney and thyroid disease can cause changes in your nails. One common change is the appearance of vertical or horizontal ridges. Most of the time, ridges in fingernails are harmless.

FFS...LOL. We are drinking here. I seriously doubt if anyone is all over their health conditions in this thread. Albeit Dil is drinking wine which they say is good for you. I am not buying it though. I plan on being like that back wood Kentucky type that lives to 100 because they drink Bourbon every day...

The first KATY is a distant memory which reminded me.

Last night i played the daily "Are there any delivery slots" on the supermarket websites - to which the answer was predictably NO. Not even "Click and Collect". Anyway i updated all my baskets in Sainsburys, ASDA, Tesco and Morrisons .. be prepared as they say. In Tesco they have a cider offer on as they do in ASDA - KATY and other Thatchers delights at 4 500ml bottles for £6 but the trouble is there is a 3 bottle limit so you can't buy 4 to get the offer

Instead i risked all in my KATY fixation and went in person, the next 10 days will tell if its a fatal mistake but just like the COVID case numbers my beer, cider and wine stocks are at a high - just hope i get he chance to reduce them.
