Dragged kiddo out for a night of beer Sing jugs and ladyboys here.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone.
Merry Xmas, a HNY and a Happy Chinese New Year I presume?
I was in Saraburi once, ooooo about 15 years ago, working for SCCC, and one Canadian mate wanted a quick beer after work, so we ended up in a place looking like that. After a couple of drinks, was about 7pm, a couple of the singers decided to come over and sit on our laps. I say, errm, thanks, but time to go home, the wife is cooking. The Canadian mate says he'd like to stay and orders a bottle of Thai whiskey... I pay my chit (not Chitty, he wasn't there...) and walk out, turn right for the 300 metres or so walk to my apartment. About 60 seconds into the walk, a motorcyc pulls up, my nice Honda City, red, with two ladies on it: the wife and the Canadian fellas wife... I says to the wifey, oh, I'm just heading home, let's go, so she says ok, looks happy, and they ask where the Canadian fella is, errrm, I'm not sure, I says and start walking home, but they were driving along slowly, looking in every bar (the Canadian fella liked a drink and was known to not return home after work until about 8am to get a change of clothes and head back to work...), and I knew they'd find him very quickly... I went home and about 15 minutes later wifey comes in; they'd found him, two 'ladies' sitting on his lap sharing whiskey, and his wife had gone ballistic and given them all a good thrashing...

That Chang beer is a month past its best before date. Not that it will make the slightest difference. Just sayin', like, innit.
Keen eye Nev, I will polish it off tonight anyway.

^^ I hope that's a joke video, Dilly, but I'm not sure if that fella is taking it seriously or not.
Not coffee, but if i was it would be ice cold 3 in 1, 3 sachets to a litre.
^ If Carlsberg made losers
After a two hour drive to Pak Chong yesterday for an abortive attempt to get my fossilised tree trunk cut, we decided to cut our losses and stay in Khao Yai for the night.
Before booking a villa with a mountain view, I would say it's worth checking that they haven't planted trees to block that view.
At 160 Baht for a small bottle of Singha in a deserted bar, I was glad I'd come prepared. Looking at a tree made a nice change from looking at our garden wall.
