This weekend I've mostly been drinking red wine, honking up, washing hotel bedding and leaving a 500 baht tip for the cleaners

Saturdays were spent in a small local bar half way down Panama Street drinking half bottles of champers...well sparkling wine anyway...(I've never been able to get the taste of Malbec no matter how many were recommended to me!!)

Today (Sunday - although this may be posted Tuesday!) I am finishing off all my Mont Clair, Cheers extra, Honthong and Spy ready to get back on the wagon tomorrow...

I am having a little celebration ... Mont Clair celebration that is!

I was quite chuffed about a month ago when I found an offie selling 3 litres at 920 Baht but today I was out walking the walk and found an offie selling the 2 litre placky bag sachet thingys for 570 Baht..That's 855 for 3 litres...!!!

I'm going back tomorrow to buy as much as I can carry but as you won't be reading this 'till after a Mod has cleared it I would have emptied the shelf bwahahaha!!!!!

I had this Whiskey a week or so back out at dinner. Was quite good. Came across a bottle and picked it up today. Drop a small ice cube in it and the caramels and spice really come alive.

Shangri-La has it's terrace open for the summer months so taking advantage of that while it lasts. Soon it will be time to say hello to smoke and sub zero temps again

I picked up a couple of cans to see the evening through while watching The Sinner on Netflix.

We now have GEM Brewery in UB which makes two fairly solid IPAs, the main pub is just over Peace Bridge and does good German food to go with the beer. Cheers!
