Always missed the carvery and pizza buffet due to well you know.
^ Back in the day that was 750thb for 5 liters.
Back in the day being around 2 years ago.
The fokin' taxman knobber and his new wine tax.
^ ok![]()
Dam it I knew you were in the filthy City, never been in the Huntsman, should of clicked as thes sportsman in patts don't do wine specials.
I wouldnt recommend it. Underground and dark and dingey. The ribroom upstairs is far superior, although that doesn't accomodate eatigo![]()
I have spent some money in that place, even by Dilly's standards - loved the place during it's first year.
BTW, this evening, did a sneaker 4 beers on the way home:
The two in the middle:
(both tasted very nice, at around 5,000 won in a nice bar) (7brau beers are also good - some nice ales)
&, 2 of these (double the price of above, in the same place):

One minute swinging on the tree...
Ten minutes later in my G & T...
This is a drink for Jack Meoff, he'll know why.
Also, one of my last drinks before joining the Dry July club next week, and hopefully the start of new things.
Nice sized limes, ours are too small and the skin is too thick - got rid of most of them and need 4 new ones ...where did you get them?
^ I can find out from the wife tomorrow. We have a really good crop of limes this year.
I know we got our lemon trees from Pak Chong and they were great for a few years but unfortunately died. I'll dog out a photo...
I am planning on pot growing the next lot and it'll be 4 limes and 2 Lemons, its enough. I did have 25 limes, produced loads but they all proved to be small and with a thick rind much like the fuker that saw me coming. This time in Big pots, i've laid concrete bases for the pots to stand on and made them easy to strim around but i'm waiting for the all important decent recommendation. The Lemons in Klang Dong don't look to clever.
I'm currently in Vientiane, as I'm busy telling Thailand to fcuk off and relocating to live in Luang Prabang. Did you know that there are other breweries in Laos besides Beer Lao? That's right. Craft beer is legal in Laos, so long as the duty is paid, (so home brew is not allowed).
Coincidentally, I'm currently teaching my online Burmese Science students about enzymes in the fermentation process of making cheese, baking bread brewing beer etc. So I arranged to visit CoreBeer, which is a micro-brewery in Vientiane, to sample their beers and take some photos.
CoreBeer brews several different tipples ==> a lager, a Weiner, an IPA and a stout. The stout was still in the vats, but I was able to sample the other 3 beers. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but all 3 certainly tasted fine.

Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
I don't really need this after sharing a bottle of gin last night, but as I'm joining 'Dry July' on Tuesday... needs using up anyway...

How easily it happens... good conversation and a civilised glass of wine leads to neat Hong Thong...
And as soon as I leave my seat, it's taken. Who says you can't have a decent social life in Korat???
