    ^^

The red wine looks nice and fruity, Fozzy.

Victoria station in London if I''m not mistaken. Liquid lunch in Wetherspoons yesterday?

^ Was the check out girl drunk as well?
Why not just scan one item and enter on the till how many instead of scanning them all?

    Her repetitive strain injury problem..

Hope you save a couple for the hangover in the mourning.

Took wjblaney's suggestion and ordered my eisbock from wishbeer.com. Ordered online Sunday morning and it was delivered yesterday (Wednesday) at noon. Everything perfect.

Sure beats going over to Nimanhaimen!

While I fully appreciate everyone has their own tastes, any Scotch drinkers? Tequila? Vodka?

I appreciate a beer from time to time but the stuff is bloating and makes you piss all the time and it takes too many to become pleasantly anesthetized.

Unfortunately in my youth and also my later years i have a habit of projectile vomiting Tequila. I have tried to keep up with my friends with the shots and salt and lemon, but just end up wasting money and changing clothes frequently.

It is 7.45 pm here, i have some tomato juice chilling in the fridge. I shall make myself a bloody mary for my aperitif this evening. And probably another in the morning.

In between, it's a few glasses of wine and sausage and mash for tea. With onion gravey.

    And X Factor.

One vodka i tasted was caramel flavoured vodka. We drank it in shot glasses. It was yummy. You didn't actually realise that it was alcoholic because of the lovely caramel taste. Until you stood up.

Last night a sensible combination of draft San Miguel and Corona for me..

And a not so sensible combination of red wine, cointreau, and malibu and pinapple for the misses.

Old school for me last night. Grew up drinking this. Best of the main stream IMO.

Today I am not drinking anything but yesterday KGBGF brought over a bottle of mead (spiced wine with honey) and home-made mincemeat pies.

We polished off the mead in short order and then made a dent in the home made Baileys she had also made (Jamesons, fresh cream, condensed milk, cinnamon and chocolate sauce)
