The Hairy Bikers Christmas Vodka...excellent stuff, albeit a little too drinkable. I was introduced to it today, celebrating an early Christmas before we leave for Thailand. The recipe says 3 days but friend prefers to leave it a week. It's like drinking liquid mince pies. I shall be making it for New Year celebrations. I might even make a batch using Lao Khao...

Recipe easy to find on the web...

Day 15. Haven't missed a day of drinking. Also my Cousin shared some of her Cannibas Quencher. It's like lemonade with 100mg of THC in it per serving. Great little high and do not have to roll or E cig. Love to bring a case back.

Man Calif knows how to do up good THC products. I took a walk to the local dispensary and man. Walk in the door and instant contact high.

Tonight it's cold again in Korat.

I really fancied a Baileys on ice, sitting next to a fire, with a nice black coffee before retiring to bed with my loved one.

But, no Baileys, no fire and the wife's with her mum...

So, for a change I went for a couple of Leos with Hong Thong chasers!

And there it lies. I see the POTY poll and it embarrasses me a bit to be honest. I do this shit because of my darling little daughter and the huge amount of spare time I have... living in Korat to make sure she's ok. That's all I can say, but I can't go anywhere, can't leave, can't desert her, so fill in my time writing stories on this forum, which I enjoy immensely, by the way.

And I know how disparaging I can be about Thais, but my gardener guy, Nin, is something else. Without him this wouldn't be possible. OK, I maybe wish he wouldn't play the 'ball over the wall' game with me daughter in front of the kitchen window, and maybe he can be over familiar with the dogs at times!.. but without him this would collapse. He has been more an uncle to my little girl than any of her 'relatives'.

I'm gonna write on he POTY thread tomorrow, but I've always been an anonymous, kind of low key person. This don't sit easy.

    Little Creatures XPA

    What are you drinking today?-img_20191210_215403-jpg

I am a huge fan of Little Creatures ever glorious Pale Ale so I was curious to try their take on XPA. It is not quite up to the stellar level of Balter's XPA brewed here on the Gold Coast but still bursting with similar lemony citrus floral notes and an excellent summer evening tipple ice cold.

    Old Speckled Hen

Reliable as ever. I put a tiny bit of golden syrup in it to tickle the fruity dryness and get it singing.

^^Tiz the season to buy more booze than you can drink Chitty

^KGBGF bought me a pair of the largest red wine crystal balloons on the planet for Christmas 5 years ago and I promptly smashed one in the sink on Boxing day (I never told her).

Luckily the solitary one has survived 5 years as a memento to my erstwhile dusky devushka and is a fine swally swilling beer goblet reserved only for the finest beers available to humanity.

La Vida boxed red wine. Followed by some Glenlivet single-malts.

^ That'll do...no longer a poofy glass but a fine memento worthy of holding fine ales and wines. Don't fill it up with hairy biker Christmas Vodka though unless you have a couple of days free...

Mendip, Betts shock is not that you drink every day but its Leo and not some trendy overpriced garishly packaged to attract magpies rubbish he buys.

Aah, I see. I thought it was an odd question.
