Don't know why the nice Russian lady dignified this right-wing American rubbish with an apology. She did not create that piece, she doesn't own it, she sat down for a pic on the only thing that resembled a chair in the exhibition, couldn't sit on the tables or hat stand, could she? There are no negroes in Russia, therefore there is no racism against them, black/white is no issue at all. Russians / Tatars perhaps, but not black or white. On the contrary, the communists were sympathetic with the American negroes. No American knows this toilet brush here,

I've read and re-read the article and can't find where it says it's an exhibition. Am I being stupid? All I can find is the fact it seems to be a posed pic for a magazine article, which would explain why she's in bare feet.

No comment as to whether she's racist or not, but I wouldn't touch that thing, let alone sit on it. Really does make my skin crawl. Not because of the colour, just the image in general.
