If there was a New Year fairy that could grant you one wish for 2014, what would you wish for? If that wish was for you, and no-one else (so, no "peace on Earth" wishes)?

Mine is quite easy - a settled, happy year. I've had too many ups and downs in the last year, I just want no drama.

So, what's yours?

I want to see my cat again. I had to give him away to a better home.

I miss him terribly, and cry quite often. It takes a big part out of you to have lived and loved an animal for 13 years and not see them again. I know he is ok, i get messages, and living the life of riley. But just to see Jimmy once would make my year.

Silly soft lump that i am!!! I ask myself if he still understands English as he was bilingual....

I also want my long hair back. A month ago i could reach up my back and grab my hair. A week ago my mother took me to her hairdressers and they chopped it of to chin length. Yuk.

I would like to see the Thai Baht tank. ThB 75 to the £ would do nicely, thankyou. I have quoted on a contract for renewable annual outsourcing work worth around ThB 2,million to my company and the current slide is making us ridiculously competitive.

Yes, much like NR this year hasn't been the best one (though there have been far worse ones).

Broke me ferkin' leg a few months back and had to stay in hospital for a while. Got metal rods inserted into the leg - like ferkin' girders, they are. Since then I've been literally fk'd up - I've always had a very active life - and sittin' on me arse for weeks on end has left me almost(?) mentally retarded.

Just when I was starting to get back on me feet (pun intended) along comes the cold weather and me leg swells up all the time. I looks a right freak with one fat leg and one skinny leg.

The garden looked like a jungle, with 6 ft high weeds everywhere, as I hadn't been able to tend to it for ages. Finally managed to scrape an area clean, sitting on a low plastic chair with me ferkin' leg out straight. Planted a few onions, garlic and carrots. Three weeks later chickens got into the garden and scoffed the lot - bastards! The wife wasn't happy that they shit all over her outside kitchen, either. Thought about walking down the road and rolling me trousers down and crapping a giant turd in the Thai cvnt's garden - see how he likes that! Only problem was, I couldn't walk there and back to do it.

Anyway, my own private wish for next year is to be able to walk (and run) properly again and no further motosy accidents, good health to the wife and meself - and death to all the chickens on Jan 1st!

Oh - and HNY to you lot, too - there's been some real good laughs during 2013 on the forum - keep it up next year, eh!
