And while you're being agreeable, I think that Ant's "filling up the trash can" offence is no worse than "clogging up the new posts button"
So either free Ant or jail the spambot.
Actually, on that criteria the newsbot, Mid, outghta be jailed too.
The problem is it takes a level of intelligence to understand David44 posts.
If he posts something the mods don't understand, they jail him out of fear.
Neither David or Spam have posted anything to warrant being in the doghouse. David has served his term whether it was justified or not. keeping him in jail is just plain spiteful.
Heart of Gold and a Knob of butter.
I read Spam, and enjoy the canned laughter. Rather him than the miserable folks who only know how to be abusive on here.
bullshit. he posts drivel.Originally Posted by chassamui

Spam is in the can now for sure - jailed for 10 days.
Yet, I didn't hear you concerned during the period of over saturation of the real newsbot some months ago - 97% of which he posted [dozens of items daily] were trivial and not news worthy.......
Mid's been a long-time worthy contributor [unlike yourself] for quite a time without going overboard. One of the handful....
Frankly Wills, you would do yourself honourable to keep your historied and petty dislikes to yourself [or in the mod's room] - certainly when it's not justified.
Any guesses who SmellsLikeChinese might be?...
you didnt listen then.Originally Posted by Rural Surin

So JPPR, Why do you care? You live in America and yet you seem to need a Teak Door fix much like about 70% of the non-Thailand based resident readers and posters that come here.Originally Posted by JPPR2
I would find something better to do if I were you. Life in San Jose and Silicon Vally must be very tedious for you these days if the best you can do is complain about Spaminacan...FFS get a life.
BTW, have you visited Japan town in San Jose? Go to the giant flea market on Sundays where ESL dominates. Go over the hill to Santa Cruz for a afternoon walk and lunch. Up to the city to Golden Gate park or off to the museums or China town...shit man there's so much to do there and yet you spend your time and energy complaining about a moron on a web site that deals with Thailand.
I may be wrong, but this is not one of your better posts JPPR. When are you returning to LOS with your bride?
Been to all of those places buddy. I grew up in Santa Cruz. Japan town is one square block, not a lot of area to cover. Boring to go twice. Flea market is good for fresh veggies once you filter through the hispanics. You know, come on FFS... You should know better. If you been there then you would know. How many times did you visit those locations over and over? Silly....
I will return to Thailand at the end of next year, thanks for asking. I visit TD to catch up on the latest and enjoy some posters but sorry if I find Spamincan a virus on TD. I catch up on TD at night after a long day of work.
Thanks for the recommendations however. you should visit sometime. HAHA
On Edit: being you seem to check the area here, you would also know we have been enduring a pretty harsh cold spell been -4 at night with a high of 8 to 10c during the day. With daylight savings time not a lot to do. Ever walked on the beach in Santa Cruz at 40 degrees?. Doubt it so I thought I would visit TD.

Actually J I've lived through snow in the Santa Cruz Mountains with only a half assed working fireplace after Loma Prieta earth quake. I know almost all there is to know about cold weather living both in Cali and out of it. Try 365 miles above the Artic Circle once then you'll know what cold is. Don't worry about the small shit J, spaminacan is small potatoes when you think about having to live your life in a shit hole like San Jose...Originally Posted by JPPR2
When you return you'll find there's just about as much to do here as there is to do there. How's highway 17 treating you? Bayshore is lovely at almost any time of the day.
No traffic jams here in Ban Doi. Only the evening market, the nightly burning of God knows what, but it must be burnt and the passing of the returning farmer in his truck tractor.
I know you miss it here, but take it easy and don't sweat the small stuff J.
Man...the Loma Prieta earthquake days. Good ol Love Creek. Sad all those people that just vanished in that mudslide. I was living in Ben Lomond at the time. I rushed down to Henflings bar where all of us volunteer firemen met to help others.
Hiway 17 is same old Hiway 17. Sand trucks still plug it up, idiots wreck everyday. Its in need of a new cement center divider in places due to people smacking them regularly. I have only crossed over it 2 times since returning. Both times to show the missus around but that tour is done.
SJ is really actually a boring area. Always has been. Never became the boomtown/nightlife/hangout place they all envisioned. Awesome place to make money though. SF is fun but would hate to live there.
Yeah I do miss TL. The beauty is our house in the North is home base but we will visit here couple times a year. Have numerous places to stay with family and friends. I sure miss doing my thing there. A heck of a lot easier, no bureaucracy and the things most of the expats get all twisted up around the axle never even bother me where as here the idiocracy is rampant. People line up and wait for hours to get into the Coach store to buy purses, or buy iPhones, malls are jammed with sheeple buying stuff they don't need. You know the drill.. I grew up small town, I like small town.
Cheers.
