I know the guy in the village that does the repairs. He doesn't live on that soi.
The street dogs are annoying. They must be like sacred cows here.
Apartments without kitchens are an annoying reality for many.
Speedbumps in some areas and potholes in other areas ruin your car.
Lack of good alternatives to Thai food outside of places where there are high farang populations is annoying.
Lack of variety in the chain stores. Not much choice besides 7Eleven in some places.
Crappy politically biased newspapers are an issue.
No one really give straight answers about anything related to government paperwork bores me.
Problems not solved: Is there any problem that the Thai government ha actually solved completely in its history? Still wondering about this.
Thanks Funklestein you just reminded me.Originally Posted by Funklestein

I am getting sick of listening to Christmas music and the Christmas rushes. I'm currently working in retail part-time and people are driving me craaaazy!!!
Glad Xmas only comes once a year!

F'kin coffee shops with big f'kov machines that put sugar in your coffee, then looked puzzled when you ask why.
They take it that way and everyone they know [Thai] take it that way, so naturally [and automatically] expect you to - never considering that there is a considerable independent human element out there that doesn't follow the leader because that is the way it is done...
You should know by now that a suggesting to no sugar is to be provided.
Fat bastards make me spew chunks especially when I'm in Lumpini park and some fat arsed Farang will come trotting by with his or her bike shorts on. Ugly foking sight that one.
I mean fuk me, fat bastards should never be allowed out in public.
Also farang that complain relentlessly about the Thais. I mean its there country so you conts should just fuk off home where you belong.
Its no wonder the Thais think you're a cont. I do as well.
That's about it really, I'm quite contented with my lot.

Been driving up to Surat for the last few days to visit a friend in hospital. As I pass the new Central Plaza I stop for a McDs breakfast set.
Sausage, muffin, scrambled egg and hash brown, a nice brunch with a free drink. Three days running I am given coke and they have to recycle it because I want coffee, but no one bothers to ask.
At least they've stopped putting a pack of jam in there every day. So much for progress.

I agree, but hit one and you'll be at fault. Even the cops do it. Fucked up Thailand.
Last Songkran a drunk kid 17 years old staggered out in the middle of the street and tried to stop me on my motor scooter. I motioned for him to move and I tried to go around him. He moved again in front of me and I hit him. Thankfully I was going slow.
A cop came to my house and after me telling him about the kid being drunk and staggering in the middle of the road and the rest of my story. He told me it was my fault because it was Songkran. Never mind the kid was drunk and under age or the fact that I tried to go around him. The end result was me paying this punk 1,200 B for xrays and hospital visit.
