I left my body last night just like Jesus Christ did.

As you all know we are having a fair bit of rain at the moment and some of you also know the property I live is on the edge of a Klong (river) which was flooded 2 years ago.

Last night, and after a few beers with Larvidchr and Pickel I arrived home and it was raining again.

I checked the Klong and it was a few metres down from the flood zone so I went to bed reasonably sure we would have no problems.

At about 5.00am I had a dream I was outside and looking at the Klong and saw it was about 10cm away from overflow and I woke up in a panic.

I got out of bed and had this mental picture about this dream image and when I looked outside and down onto the Klong from upstairs that exact same dream image was what I saw. Markings on the wall, water level, bits of rubbish in the water........exactly.

The scene I viewed (the water level against the wall arches on the property directly opposite) was exactly what I saw in my dream and I have only seen this once in the 20 odd years of living on this property and that was this morning.

People claim that your spirit can leave your body but why the fuck does my spirit just go to my Klong and not to some super-models change room.

Anyway, I started to lift some of the downstairs furniture to higher grounds but thankfully the rain stopped and the water level has gone down about 10cm.

A few things have happened in my life which I cannot explain but do you guys believe in spirit travel or supernatural occurrences?

Has anything happened to you in the past that you cannot explain?

I am a completely rational person. I do not believe in ghosts or any of that stuff but....

My father had an identical twin brother, Doug. As my father's son I could tell them apart, but most people had a hard time doing so.

One night I had a dream he had died, which seemed odd as I had heard or seen nothing of him for years. Later the next day my father called to tell me Doug had died from a heart attack.

A cold chill went up my my spine like you could never imagine.

A lot of things can be explained as coincidence but .......
I see fish. They are everywhere. They don't know they are fish.

Similarly when my mother's mother died.

Mum and I were watching television one evening and at 6.20 pm I turned round to Mum and told her I'd just got a feeling that Gran had died. Mum said she just had a thought like that too.

About 10 minutes later came a ring on the door bell, a neighbour calling who told us that she'd got a phone call from my aunt (who my Gran was living with), the old lady had just passed away, about ten minutes before.

The thing is, I answered the door and knew exactly what the neighbour was going to say, and I told her so, she nearly passed out on the spot!

My father, who unlike me is a sensible non-drinker, non-smoker and one of the most honest men I have ever met told me that he saw his father sitting on the back step of our Sydney home when he was at the back of the land doing some gardening with me when I was about 8 years old.

He blinked and the image had vanished and about 30 minutes later my mother walked down to us from the house and told us she had just received a call telling us my grand-dad had just died.

At that time my grand-dad lived about 500 miles away.

I doubt, don't understand most things supernatural and am not religious but I do believe my father and I have had similar unexplained experiences since that time.

    yeah, strange those things

I remember dreaming of three numbers, for some reason they stuck in my head when I woke although I usually forget my dreams

so I went down to the town and bought a load of lottery tickets with those numbers in combination, about 20 all told

    not one of them won
    I have reported your post

Sounds to me like you better get ready for flooding. Floods usually come really fast so I'd probably already have my stuff upstairs if possible.

I haven't had a dream that was accurate. I'm still hoping to dream up some weird gadget in my dream or see something that will make me rich when I wake up.

One night I woke up with an overwhelming urge to phone my best friend. It was in the middle of the night so I waited and watched the hours tick by until 6 AM and phoned.

Her husband suffered a heart attack at home in the middle of that night. She had just returned home from the hospital where he had been pronounced dead.

My friend and I always wonder what kind of mental connection we have. Her husband's death was premature and unexpected. I don't phone her so often and never phone her so early. She really needed me at that moment as she was alone, in shock, and distressed.

Have had a few of these experiences ... more like a feeling in my waters that some bad news was on the horizon.

Anyway after last night's efforts I wish I could leave my body for a while ... the hair of the dog sure aint working :-)

I'm in the process of raising the wall adjacent to the Klong by about 1 metre and when I do that I reckon the Siam Country Club Wanasin Market will be under half a metre of water and when the real floods come.

The Nong Prue council can then have the problem as I need to protect my house and my family.

I wonder if the head of this Council is having nightmares about me doing this but he has been told and done fuck all to correct the problem leaving me to deal with it.

I can no longer watch horror films or anything similar before bedtime. Since I've improved my life health-wise I've been having really vivid dreams and often during my dreams I'm aware that I'm also lying in bed in the 'real' world. A couple of times I did things in dreams knowing I could wake up if it got too crazy. Two worlds crossing in my mind while I sleep. Makes you think that maybe your brain works in odd ways while we sleep.

I dont believe in any of that spiritual crap, if you lie down and look at the clouds or stars for long enough you will form pictures.
Couple that with alcohol and you can see where all these UFO or ghost sightings stem from.

How many did you have last night Loy Toy ?

You'll probably have a neighbour come round soon, saying you sleepwalked into their garden and pissed all over their dog in the early hours

    Pussy

    To answer you q.

You probably just had a very real feeling dream. It happened to me one time.

I drove for 19 hours in a row and I stopped for a sleep. It felt like I woke up and my body floated up horizontally. It felt fucked up. I thought I was dead.

But I dont believe in sperits and all that one iota...It was just a whacky dream.

Yea, it's the only way to make room for even more spirit.

I had an out of body experience once. True, I was on acid at the time but out of body nonetheless. I was at Virginia Waters tripping with a couple of friends. we found a nice quiet spot away from people and decided to spend the day communing with nature ....as you do.
I soon fell fast asleep ..........or at least my body did. I stayed mentaly awake and observed my body falling asleep. All my limbs seemed to feel longer as each one went into sleep mode. Eventually, all that was awake was my consciousness which collected in my head and after a while started floating out off the top of my head into a bubble that was forming about 2 metres above my sleeping body. After a while my entite consciousness was in the bubble and it severed the connexion with my body and floated clear, rising to about 5 metres above my sleeping body.

In the bubble I had all around vision and spent a little while admiring the view and this totally new and pleasant experience. Then I happened to look down at my sleeping ( and snoring ) body and realised ' I ' was no longer occupying it.
As soon as I understood this I totally panicked and in a rush was back in my body and waking up a bit freaked out.

Nope .........it was not just a dream, it was absolutely for real and a very interesting episode.

Have you ever been hypnotised Loy Toy ? There are some people who can't be. Ive never tried myself, but was in a pub one night and the hypnotist there picked everyone around me except me. Good job really, he made them look a right bunch of cnuts on the stage

Maybe those who can be hypnotised are capable of these spiritual out of body experiences. Come round to mine, Ill get you on the dining table and have a butchers
