there are ones you don't the thomas cook (You do) its pretty good you get two cards, and the receiver gets money straight away,

theres loading charges of 2% still cheaper than sending through banks, think its 180 baht to take money out, not sure on the amount you can take out at one time though.

How about the exchange rate they are using?

I use FairFX card. No loading charge and no annual fee. Good rates of exchange too.

So how they make money?

Good question. I forgot to add, theres a percentage charge for the amount you draw out. If I remember rightly, its about 1.5%.

It works out slightly cheaper than using a Nationwide card (which used to be free on foreign transactions)

There's only one way to beat the banks and cards, you lose shit loads doing it that way especially on large amounts.

Every time you leave the country bring back in the maximum amount in cash that's allowed with out having to declare it. For me its 10 K.

Walk it into " Super Rich " head office on Silom, change it to Baht then go to you're bank and bang it in.

Best rates in Bangkok are at " Super Rich ". Changing at Banks and using cards are costing you big time.

terry some of us have families here that we have to take care of, i would never leave 10,000 in bank for my wife, she would spend the whole fekking lot in a week

Ok then Go to head office " Bangkok Bank " on Silom and open a new account.

" Superich " is a fart away, change 10K cash into Baht.

Put 30 baht into you're family account , the rest in you're new account and go on a massive fuking bender.
