    Breaking Bad Fans Stand Up!

With the shows finale just a few episode away from finishing I'm already missing it
What will happen in these final few installments?

Will the writers serve justice? Or will they leave it open ended. Oh and for any of you who haven't watched this series I suggest you do as its television genius. I have the whole series I can send to interested party's.... Free of charge for non Kunts and 500 baht for 5 season for you Kunts out there.

Television connoisseurs to savour Breaking Bad like a fine wine

    12-08-13

THOSE who watch only the finest television are eagerly anticipating new Breaking Bad episodes.

The crime series is beloved of a new breed of television connoisseur who views only the most exquisite American drama.

Office manager Tom Logan said: “I am one of an elite group of telephiles for whom only series that are maybe ‘the best of all time’ are good enough.

“While viewing Breaking Bad I shall snack upon some highly refined potato crisps – cheese and chive flavour.

“I’ll stoop to The Walking Dead but anything below that in terms of quality will make me physically sick.

“Most television simply does not cater to people like me. Indeed the airwaves are awash with shows like Hollyoaks that denigrate the televisual medium.

He added: “I have very discerning eyeballs and a special satin ‘viewing jacket’.”

39-year-old Emma Bradford said: “I know the phrase ‘story arc’ which means I understand televised entertainment on a very profound level.

“Sometimes my friends and I like to watch Holby City in an ironic way. It is terribly formulaic.

“I consider medical dramas to be ‘telly’, which is quite different to ‘serious television’.”

That's a fair assessment although it does pick up and seriously outperform those seasons. Dexter used to be my favorite TV drama but since season 5 or so has been half assed at best. The final season of Dexter has been very disappointing and with just 3 episodes left I'm not holding my breath.

BB on the other hand has been excellent and I think you should give it another look.

Agreed. I think there was only one truly slow episode I remember. The one with the fly in the cook room.

    Love it.
I almost missed it , due to the cliched tactic at the start of episode 1 , of showing the end first , then 5 mins in, saying 24 hours earlier .
I fucking hate that and refuse to continue watching .
    Usually.
But I had already downloaded the whole of season 1 , in HD.
So I flicked through episode 1 , in about 3 mins to get the gist of it ,
and moved on to episode 2 - same back in time lame tactic again ...
    so 3 min later I'm on ep 3 .
    It settled down then .

It's a bit slow with his family life ;who gives a fuck about his boring boy, can't they get him an interesting girlfriend or have him blown up or something ?

I just downloaded latest episode to watch tonight .

    A treat !!!!!!!!

I would recommend to the people that watched a little and stopped to give it another go. It is a highly original and genius program with Bryan Cranston giving one of the best performances television has ever seen.

I stopped watching TV in 2004, but then in the Winter of 2012 a mate of mine recommended this kickass show called Breaking Bad.

I downloaded season 1, got hooked and then watched all of the seasons until this year in 2 weeks.

I think it's my favorite show / series ever. So fookin'g good.

I also love Mad Men, Game of Thrones, and Sons of Anarcy in that order.

BB is one of the greatest every made, IMO.

Never watched it, perhaps I should.

Dexter into his last two episodes.... getting a bit silly. I hope the finale is not a burst balloon otherwise i have wasted years of my life. The last episode of CSI Miami was crap, the last episode of Desperate Housewives was even crappier. The last episode of 6 feet Under (with dexter as the gay son) was ok.

    I hate last episodes...

Like movies Hangover 1 was great, Hangover 2 mediocre, Hangover 3 thank god i didn't pay to see it at the flicks.

The only films in 1, 2,3 etc i enjoyed are the Meet the Parents ones.

I resisted watching the show at first because to me it sounded a bit lame.... After sole friends kept yapping on about it I figured if give it a shot. By this time the show was going into the fifth season so I watched 1-4 all at once (well not straight) and as a good friend told me I'd be.. I was hooked. There's never IMO been a show with such an amazing storyline and genius cinematography. It really is one of a kind.

Only 3 episodes remain and there's a lot of story to tell! I'm patiently waiting

Has nothing to do with the TV show you cock. What was the point of your original post in this thread? To up your post count or was it to demonstrate what a superior individual you are? Either way it was a bullshit post and you know it. Wrap your arms back around Andy's nuts and let the grown ups discuss our program, OK sport?

Two ^ of my favorites. I don't watch TV, but will watch entire seasons on DVD. I have watched most of BB, but it never really did it for me - it was ok, but I didn't find it all that great. I liked Dexter and Boardwalk Empire better.

Dexter has failed is this season hasn't it? Well so far anyways. If you like 6 Feet and dexter Breaking Bad will knock your socks off I'm sure.

    Check it out Patsy

BB is good but the Sopranos was a much better crime series imo.

The best crime series ever are the Aussie Underbelly series.

This dude should get some award for his performance:

But for quality TV, Give me shows like Deadliest Catch, or this new one I found, "Bering Sea Gold"

I thought that was the end last year. I didn't know there was a second half to the last series. I thought it was quite a good ending!

Looking forward to another last series now!

(p.s. I am not going to read this thread)

Breaking bad appears to be aiming for a cracking finish, but these cliffhanger endings do my head in. Wish I'd just d/l'ed and watched the lot back to back!

Boardwalk Empire hit the ground running.

I'm enjoying The NewsRoom so much, I'm almost tempted to take a look at The West Wing. Any views?

I can't comment on the other shows you've mentioned but I must say part of BB's genius is the preview in most episodes as well as the cliffhangers. Granted the cliffhangers irritate me most the time ..they almost always end up serving the story excellently IMO... For me Dexter has really been lazy this season and unless something groundbreaking happens soon the final season will be a major disappointment in my opinion.

I hadn't watched any television (strictly movies) for years before Dexter and Breaking Bad. Vince Gilligan (BB creator) says the next episode will be the best of the entire series.. And that's saying a lot... I do believe he said that just to up the finale ratings for AMC, That doesn't mean this Sundays episode won't be legendary.
