Righty. I'm gonna try replacing the seal on the inlet valve so first I need to get that out.
The one in the middle.

Just a 90º twist anti clockwise and it should just pop out.

After a lot of twisting and swearing it did finally pop out.

This is the seal that I'm gonna replace but it doesn't look worn or blistered. I'll just take the whole thing to the shop so there's no fuck ups.

There's loads of different settings on this thing. I'm gonna get a new seal to eliminate that from the list anyway but does any one know if these settings might fix it?

Impressed so far, take care - I can see you ending up with 45 bits of plastic on the floor with no idea what they are or how to fit them back together; get a labelling system on the go...
At Homeworks and guess what? Mai meeeee. Twats
With no obvious way to fix this I've been practicing installing and un-installing this unit. I'm down to less than a minute and I can do it in the dark.
I've got two choices:
1) Give this to my engineer tomorrow and he'll replace the seal and show me how to do it.
2) As I'm pretty drunk I see no reason why I can't go into one of the un-sold houses here and swap out the broken part.
Ill be back in a bit.
Did you get caught? :)
Nah wimped out.:)
poove
I knew it'd end up with FP paying for an 'expert (Somchai the plumber with Somchai the plumber's mate...) to do the job, at double the cost of the original fix. :)
Come on, FP - prove me wrong.
