I just love the fact, if it is true, that Axl Rose will take over singing for ACDC!!
That should be a good un.
Let's see...12 days running (literally and figuratively) on the gym treadmill for a total of 133.5 kilometers and each day has been completed within 60 and 75 minutes. My goal now is 9 more days in a row with the ante upped to 15k and 90 minutes per each. After a total of 3 weeks (hopefully), I'll be fit enough to run for a lifetime.Originally Posted by thaimeme

Is that article taking into consideration the reunion of Slash and Duff McKagan, from the original lineup, back into the current lineup of Guns N Roses, which includes Axl, with 2 Vegas shows, 2 Mexico City shows, 2 Coachella Valley shows, all in this month (April) alone? Plans are also being made for continuing the tour for the rest of 2016. BTW, I didn't read the posted link, as I have no interest in AC/DC, with or w/o Axl. In fact, I barely have any interest in Axl either, to the extent that I can't understand why Alice in Chains is opening for Guns N Roses in Vegas instead of the other way around.Originally Posted by patsycat

I'm a weight lifter and a sportsman. I do one--outdoors--or the other--indoors--but the gym work takes up most of my time b/c of organizing, paying for and the travel involved in the outdoor activities I pursue. I call myself a "weight lifter" instead of a runner, let's say, b/c my gym work is in no way in preparation for any kind of competition. This is the way I put it re: my outdoor activities: I believe in the freedom of the hills (btw, that is the subtitle for the bible of American mountaineering, camping, rock climbing and survival in the great outdoors---not my original quote).Originally Posted by Chittychangchang

For one thing, my body wasis going thru "shock" that I'm not actually going to take a day off from strictly running for 21 days. And, if you don't mix up your activities (I mean I take long walks to find a coffee shop, for example), then Shirley you're going to quit exercising out of sheer boredom. Sure, I could train for a 10k or half marathon but, likesay, I have no interest in just plain running: it's all about fitness. At some point, I expect to reintroduce weight training into my regimen.
But never have I been flexible enough to seriously consider that leg of the stool able to contribute support to my overall fitness. Bless all of you who have that kind of inspiration and physique. Believe me, it alone is enough to allow many, many women (and men) to get fantastic bodies. I have to take the hard route and, still, I don't have a fantastic body, OK?
P.S. 79 kg and 185 cm
It's a disaster really, Axle is a tosser.
He never starts a concert on time and keeps punters waiting, sometimes for hours.
AC-DC have had a great reputation from the get go.
Shithouse that the last thoughts of AC-DC will Be.......
Remember when they let Axle Rose join up.
I'm 184cm and about 84/5kg.
My lifestyle has somewhat changed with the arrival of my now 4.5 month old son.
We eat out less and I drink less. I bought a multi-gym.
I finish my work hitch in Korea today and fly back to Songkhla on Monday with full intentions of joining the gym and getting myself into a sensible routine that I can continue on my return to Korea.
So, with Phuket Bike Week and Sonkran in the mix let's see if I can stay true to my word or wether I'll end up on the sesh.
I love April.
Lang may yer lum reek...
And it's changed for the better, fitness wise! I would have guessed, on avg., the opposite would be true, what with the additional time constraints and sleepless nights. Mind you, can't speak to that experience personally but good on ya', esp. with the biking back in LOS.Originally Posted by dirk diggler
