Thread: Why am i only able to post some time?

I use to be able to post anytime, but now I can only post sometimes.
I have been trying to post something or comment on something atleast once a week to see if I can post and today I got lucky and was able to do.
WHY?
I can not even send a private message.
If this gets through, this is for dr Andy: I owe you a dinner.
To Thetyim: Have you changed your phone number in last 3 years?

I really hope I can get through this time.

Does anybody else have the same problem?
Can anybody explain WHY I have this problem?

112 posts in 6 years. Take it easy,slow down a bit,stop overloading the system.

It could be that i find it easier to post whilst sober, give it some thought skippy.

Sober? I have been drunk 5 times in the last 17 years but I admit that I have 2 bottles of Leo beer a day.
The 5 times were: 3 times with sonkraan, I time when I turned 50 and 1 time when my wife gave birth to twins.
But this still does not explain why I am only be ABLE to post somethimes.

If you're using IE it could be a browser issue- if you type out a post and get the message 'the post you have entered is too short' you need to click the 'compatibility view' icon (it looks like a torn page) on the top bar.

Think its just the strict TD vetting process once the mods think you are able to make a sensible contribution to the board,you will be able to make post 24 hours a day.

So you've been trying to post at least once a week since 2007? Is your care worker around? Stop trying to post using the fridge or the rice cooker. It doesn't work.

I used to get that and corrected it by the 'compatibility view' icon. it doesn't happen if I use 'Firefox'.

Sensible? The members that post most generally talk a load of twaddle! Myself included

Make sure you are logged in first, you will be able to browse the forum but not reply if you aren't.

It's the only reason I can think of, maybe one of your browsers remembers your log in details and another or different computer doesn't?

Thats what I am getting all the time.
I have not on been able to comment or post a new thread for the last 2-3 years except for maybe once or twice at a internet cafe.

Actually, you're probably quite lucky!!

The 'compatibility view' fixed my posting problem too.
