No thanks. even those VW vans are a bit claustrphobic
Petrol has plummeted in AUD so driving has become cheaper this year. Around $ 1.20 in the city, In the middle of now where it can be anything.
You must take on board that people who can afford rigs like this do not even consider the price of fuel. One would simply never buy a big rig if watching Dollars.
Add on Top that to park something like this in most Caravan parks near a city one must book ahead and pay for two Bays.
Average cost just to park this could be $ 100 buks a night.
When touring the country these rigs are totally self sufficient though and they just bunk up anywhere.
Many Australians have worked all their life and are now on the road blowing their Superannuation enjoying their life.
That's me. :)
My new motor will be fitted in my car when I get back in October and I'm off on a very nice road trip.
I've traveled far and wide in Thailand and in season it's a stunning country to tour.
At the end of the day my Handbag and I book into a nice hotel for under a 1000 BHT.
This is exactly why I would not piss around with a Camper.
Australia's huge and distances vast between stops, campers are brilliant there but here, NA, give me a nice hotel any-day.
What ever EH. :)
I am going to do it mate,
I'm planning now and have been refining my rig every time I have returned to AUD.
With the new motor I'm good to go.
I've got a few road trips to do with the new motor just to make sure it's all good and then I'm off. Punch up 5 K on it locally first.
2017 It's game on.
Keep my crash Pad in BKK and come back when I'm finished.
All good innit. :)

But hey,
Did ya notice that her car had the steering wheel on the right hand side.
She is in Septic land and their steering wheel is on the Left hand side.
Whats up with dat EH. ????
Haven't watched it tel, but it seems the lettering on her jacket is reversed too.
So that's two things she's fucked up on right there.
She might be right brained.....:spin:
Good info: her monthly costs, and how to work while living in a van.
