It's nice when other old people come up and widdle a bit on your feet.
It's like a greeting.
Inter continents.
I know I am getting older, people under 25 now seem to find me invisible when walking through shops.
Marginalised by middle age... fuck it then, I'm off to the pub to drink Ale.

of course you are.
So I have all this to look forward to?! Great
took a few ladies to a temple last week, had to walk up 50yrd of a stepped pathway, and its raining, and its slippy, and two of the ladies held my elbows to steady me down this path, ok ime 66 years old but for christ sake i was doing track days on a yamaha r1 5 years ago, what the hell, in 5 years ive gone down a slippery slope to doddery land.
life is what happens to us while we are making other plans
The worse thing about aging is that it seems since DD died some threads and responses on TD are getting well...polite, PC and mainstream.
Is it age or is the edge going off?
Maybe getting bored easier is an age thing? Oh I think I'll do that. Then I think why bother? The buzz will not be worth the effort, or I've done something similar before.
As for R1 Pet. Track day is still track day just the lap times get slower. So what? Oh wait. Back to the paragraph above! Buy a different bike and buy a camera?
Oh and my pert perfectly shaped manboobs maybe bigger than NR's? (nice pseudonym BTW.) Can one still buy the fragrance Rain or was that a '60's thing?

Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all
Those who cannot change their mind, cannot change anything.
All this talk of getting older...........MAKES ME WANNA GO OUT AND SCORE A MASSIVE BAG OF SMACK....

Pretty gruesome video as well. Absolutely mind boggling narcissm throughout, but then I watched the Canadian Orchastra version. That makes two Nic's using Guns and Roses extracts...same age same likes, could be tea towel time with Terry?Originally Posted by November Rain

Was looking for a fan, none in stock. 36C, hotter than Bangkok.
Young Miss Rain, if you where a true dedicated Gunners fanatical fan you would not have to ask that question.
Not many people have cracked onto the other one but you just keep searching and I'm sure one day it will all become clear.
Anyway Young Miss Rain,
The other day I received my free pair of reading glasses from my health care and I'm very bloody happy that I'm still on 1.5's. I had a full on Optical test and all was cracking.
I have my readers spread everywhere though as I cant see shit without them but on the up side my long vision is awesome. I have about 955 pairs I reckon.
I been using readers since about 40 as well, took me a while to crack on that my eyes where starting to go as I thought my poor reading vision was because of my hangovers and hydroponic habit at the time.
My newies are 1.5 too.
I read this thread with both interest and empathy. A former PE teacher, now 55, I have had deteriorating eyesight, a double hip replacement, a left knee rebuild, a double hernia operation and, most recently, double cataract lens replacements - the good news is I can see perfectly!
^
That's fuk all mate, see my health problems in the last 2 years.
Carry on.
