Hold the front page !! Kate's gone into labour !

Now if this is gonna be anything like her " incredibley severe bouts of morning sickness like no other Mother experienced " then this is gonna be hell for our Kate ,, huffing and puffing squeezing and heaving the latest oik outta the womb for us taxpayers to foot the bill for .

On the upside Charlie will not be sweating that his first grandchild is gonna appear with " awkward ginger hair " that could have ruined the whole event with those very uncomfortable comments around the bar as the gentry whoop it up to welcome the latest parasite on board .

Whoop whoop bloody whoop !!!!! I aint going to bed tonight just incase of any news ,, I wanna be the first to know whoop whoop !!!!!!

Kate Middleton is in labour! The royal baby is on its way! "Things are progressing normally", says spokesperson | heatworld.com

Royal baby: Kate gives birth to boy

The couple did not know the sex of their first child

The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy, Kensington Palace has announced.

The baby was delivered at 16:24 BST at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, west London, weighing 8lb 6oz.

The palace said in a statement that the duchess and the baby were "doing well" and would stay in hospital overnight.

The news has been displayed on an ornate easel in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace in line with tradition.

A bulletin, signed by key medical staff, was taken by a royal aide from St Mary's to the palace under police escort.

The press release said the Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news," it said.

The BBC's coverage of the royal birth has been quite nauseating. The first 15 minutes of News at 10 and now running a special programme at 10.40 pm about the history of royal births. Jesus, if i was paying a licence fee i'd truly complain

Nicholas Whitchell dribbling royal highnesses down the front of his shirt at 10.10pm also prevented me tuning into Newsnight on BBC2 at 10.30pm for fear of hearing more dross from Buck House. When Witchell mentioned that the parents wanted the newborn to lead as normal life as possible i just knew it was time for something a wee bit more highbrow so i switched to channel 5's 'Big Brother'.

Mr NR is ex services so he's a bit of a royalist (God, we had some "debates" last night!), but even he was moaning that he'd had to watch Sky News instead of BBC News this morning because of the complete overkill of coverage. Me, I'm going to totally avoid any news programme for the next month...
